I am not sure why it really matters but on my display the time stamp for my edit in Message 19 preceeds the time stamp on the message itself.

Not when I look at it - I see:

Test Post
Added by edit a minute or so later. Added by edit - the explanation: The time stamps for me are - Message posted at 6:09 am, which is the US eastern time zone time. Message edited at 5:11 am, which is the US central time zone time (my actual home time and the computers time). My profile is set up to be the US eastern time zone (even though I'm actually in the central zone). Therefore the message post time is the eastern time zone time. When doing the edit, however, the time stamp is apparently from your computers time setting. That's how you can do an edit "earlier" than the original message posting time (I think). Percy will probably know better. By the way, I'm doing this edit at ~6:19 am eastern time. In preview, that is the time shown. But when I actually submit the edit, I bet it will show ~5:19 am. You're on Eastern Time, right? Then you should see 11:35 PM as the time of your message, and 12:01 AM the following day as the time of your edit. Are you seeing something different?

That is what I am seeing now. Perhaps Moose's explanation is correct although I thought that I was looking at it in recent topics and not on the edit page.
I looked quite carefully before reporting it and I am pretty sure that it was different last night. Anyway, it is correct now.

I think that must be it, that the edit page has it wrong for those using "Discussion Board Time" instead of the local time of their computer. It's a bug, I've added it to the list.

If you look at the Music that moves you thread, there's a bunch of links to youtube.
Most of them are aligned to the left, but your utube code defaults to an align center. I think the align left looks better and should be the default. Or, could you add in the 'left' coding that aligns it like you have done with the img code? So I could type [utube=left,www.theaddress]. Yeah?

Your wish is my command (who'da thought!).
You now have to include "center" to have it centered - the default is left. Let me know if you find any problems. --Percy

I notice from one of Coyote's posts that there is an issue with unclosed tags.
It looks like the parser is only checking for a closing tag but doesn't care what the closing tag is. i.e.: Only this sentence is bolded! produced by

When you do this:
<b>bold</i>, not bold Then you haven't closed the bold tag, so everything will be bold, like this:
bold, not bold

Yes, it is the unclosed tag that is making the text bold, but I would suggest that the formatting crossing over into the signature and posting 'history' could be considered a bug.
(Obviously, it is not a 'showstopper' though.) Maybe this will show the problem better.
(Only bold and italic seems to affect the posting history text.): <b><i><font style='background-color:green' color='red' size=10>Produces: Edited by Panda, : No reason given. Oh, yes, I see your point now. Yes, there could be better encapsulation. A new version of the software will be coming out (not sure when) where making this change would make the most sense. I'll put this on the todo list.

See here and the following two messages.
A few messages upthread (here) I'm having similar problems. The cat hairball photo at the end won't display, although the alternate links seems to work. It's a "sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't" sort of thing. Firefox 19.0.2, Windows 7. My Firefox has been flaky lately - Will lock up for a while, then start working. I suspect it has something to do with Flash Player, but I may be wrong. Moose Added by edit - I have the same problems with IE (9.0.etc), except at least a little box with a red x does show up. But with Firefox and IE, most of the photos do show up fine. Here are the two problem images:
Three more problem images from my message here:
These are also not showing up in "preview" for me. Added by another edit: I cleared my cache and tried to delete the board cookies via the member profiles (did for both Minnemooseus and Adminnemooseus). It said I would need to log in again, but I didn't have to. Don't think the cookie clear thing is working correctly. Edited by Minnemooseus, : Added by edit, also fix spelling error (keep spelling similar as "simular"). Edited by Minnemooseus, : "I'm", not "I've". - Also add images at end, which are NOT showing up for me in "preview". Edited by Minnemooseus, : More problem images. Edited by Minnemooseus, : Added by another edit.

My only guess is that Wordpress is blocking them according to criteria it sees in the CGI header, which varies from browser to browser and website to website. Can you put the images somewhere else?
Anyone else had trouble with images sponsored at Wordpress?
