The question, on whether the speed of light is constant, would seem to require a universal scale.
This turns out not to be the case. According to Einstein, the speed of light as measured by an observed does not depend on the motion of the observer as long as the observer is not accelerating. So a universal measure scale is not needed for the speed of light to be constant.

All ions have charges. That is part of their definition.
Why do you believe that gamma ray bursts are not associated with regular matter? What is your reason for requiring a dark matter ?explanation for either gamma ray bursts or black holes?

It is the expansion of dark matter that gives the charge.
Hydrogen H Discovery of H2 in Space Explains Dark Matter and Redshift
Ah, it's Paul Marmet again.
The reference you cite speculates that Dark Matter is simply molecular hydrogen, i.e. ordinary hydrogen gas. I don't see any support whatsoever for what you say at this link.
Further, you are proposing that the expansion of space would cause hydrogen molecules or hydrogen atoms to become ionized. Do you have any understanding how little expansion of space would be present within the distance of an electron in a hydrogen atom. An electron could never be freed from an atom by the expansion of space. At least not before the 'Big Rip'.
Find a new proposal. Please.

From everything I have read, dark matter is supposed to have no charge.
I can find some articles and references that discuss the possibility that dark matter is charged.

So like i asked before is it possible that nothing we see is where we believe it to be, if light as to travel around all these gravity fields, before reaching us?
I'm trying to form an opinion of whether such a thing is possible. But I don't think reading speculation built on more speculation all stated as fact is going to help decide.
If you want to convince me, at least, you're probably going to need some math based predictions that flow from your speculation. A good place to start would be showing me how distorted images can be undistorted by gravitational lensing. Your assertion that computer look better than real in a mirror was not the least bit helpful.

And try to stick to what can be proved
But you offer no proof, nor any reason to believe what you say. You just recite stuff and then make up more nonsense when you are caught in an error.
How about giving us one observation that your proposal explsins that is not explained by standard cosmology?

Re: Constant Speed of Light
Is the wikidepdia article on Geodesics helpful? The GR I've picked up from watching Susskind's video series on General Relativity only dealt with timelike geodesics.

If dark matter is anti matter, matter and light would be pushed away,
What would generate the "pushing away" you describe here? For particles with charge, the corresponding anti-particle has opposite charge which would produce attraction. Anti-matter is not repelled gravitationally by normal matter. Is this yet another thing that you have simply made up?
are in effect there own anti particle, which would mean when a photon comes into contact with dark matter it would be both a photon and an anti photon, the photon would be pushed away in the opposite direction and the anti-photon which would then pass through dark matter
The above, poster sunshaker, is complete malarkey. Why would the two identical particles (photon and anti-photon) behave differently? You started off okay when you acknowledged that an anti-photon was just a photon, but then you seemed to go off into left field. Why would anti-matter repel (or attract) a photon?
