I read one thread which had about 12 participants and 100 posts. 3 of the 12 got banned for not towing the party line, which took much of the interest out of the discussion.
Could you provide a link to that particular discussion? Thanks.

Re: Atheism+
That site doesn't seem to have (or allow) any discussion.
It reminds me of EvolutionFairytale.com a bit.
That is fine - if they want a place to hang out with like-minded people - why should I care.
But it is dull to read.
I, personally, like to have my beliefs questioned - else how would I know if they are correct?
e.g. PRATTs might be annoying to people on this board, but I have actually learnt a lot from their rebuttals.

The hanging comma doesn't tell you that there's maybe some context here you're not getting?
Ok - here it is:
"Intercourse is the pure, sterile, formal expression of men's contempt for women; but that contempt can turn gothic and express itself in many sexual and sadistic practices that eschew intercourse per se."
{abe} From bluegenes' post, I see that she re-uses the same sentence in multiple places. She definitely means it.

I don't know. We're not yet talking about things that Dworkin actually said.
Yes we are.
Why do you think otherwise?

All you're showing here is some kind ideological commitment to Rebecca Watson's point of view, and that you can completely ignore the fact that the abuse has been flying both ways.
Has it? Name even a single person whom Rebecca Watson has said should be raped to death. Name one.
So, in your opinion, "raped to death" is the ONLY possible abuse that people can use. There is no other form of abuse: just that one; just "raped to death". Anything else does not constitute abuse.

When black people live near asian neighborhoods the asians are racist toward blacks and the blacks are racist toward the asians. I see that all the time. I also see hispanics say racist things about blacks, about middle easterns, about asians, and about white people. In all of those cases I took what people were saying to be racist, in any direction between the races it was going.
I don't think privilage played a role in any of that, at least I can't see wear it did. Everyone was from the same social-economical background.

Aren't I lucky
As a white man, I am more privileged than black women like Michelle Obama , Oprah Winfrey and Rosalind Brewer.
Can I please swap to being as unprivileged as they are, as my own privilege appears to be broken.
