Re: science frauds
And in both cases it was peer review and the scientific method that exposed the frauds.

Splints
This might help.
quote:
Horse Splints By Kentucky Equine Research Staff November 15, 2006
To understand splints, we need to remember that prehistoric ancestors of the modern horse had multiple toes on each foot. The horse of today walks on the tip of its middle toe, but vestigial traces of the other toes are still present. Two of these leftover toe bones, called splint bones, lie along the inner and outer sides of each cannon bone beginning just below the horse’s knee or hock and tapering to an end above the fetlock. The splint bones bear some weight and give support to the cannon bone.
So it appears that the old toe bones in today's horse still serve some function BUT are an even better example of evolution in action; they are an example of transitional features that are always claimed to be missing.

Reading comprehension.
Learn to read.
I asked two questions;
quote:
Which version?
Does it matter?
In English and most languages the concept of order is essential; when reading you need to understand that a statement like the above involves precedent.
The first question was "Which version" referring to either the drawings or for the last 100 years or so, photographs.
The question "Does it matter" refers to the question "Which version".
Would you like to try again?

Re: Giants
I'm willing to bet that you have not even been to any of the Mississippian Culture mounds.
Yet you think you can teach us anything about them?
Have you visited any of those 'mounds'? Have you even been to Etowa? Bear Mountain? Jaketown? Ocmulgee?

Re: Giants
You did not answer my question.
Have you actually been to ANY of the Mississippian Mounds?
Have you ever been to the Smithsonian?
The Biblical Flood has been absolutely refuted and anyone claiming that the Biblical Flood happened is simply wrong. If you want absolute evidence that the Biblical Flood is just another fraud, hoax, misinformation and lack of education simply check the thread No genetic bottleneck proves no global flood.
Sorry but again, you have nothing but more examples of Creationist Frauds, Hoaxes, misinformation and lack of education.

Fossils
You do know that there are quite a few fossil collections, even in the US don't you?
The University of Texas has over 100,000 specimens cataloged.
Berkeley has over 100,000 Vertebrate specimens.
Harvard has a collection of over 20 million vertebrate and invertebrate specimens of both extant and fossil critters.
And that is just three examples.
Does that sound like practically no fossil record?
What do any of your posts have to do with the topic which is "Scientific vs Creationist Frauds and Hoaxes " other than support the fact that Creationists continue to make assertions that are patently false?

Re: Fossils
Do you actually read what you write?
It is quite easy to have a theory be assumed true when it can and does change to accept new evidence.
Some basics. Science does not deal in "Truths", it deals in reality.
Any theory that does not change to accept new evidence is called "wrong".
And it seems, you have never learned what a theory is in the first place.
Evolution is a FACT and the Theory of Evolution is the ONLY model that explains that FACT.
Yes, it should be accepted by all and it is accepted by all honest scientists in the field of Biology.
And Creationism is NOT taught in any schools except in the Avoidance Schools devoted to keeping kids from learning.
The only hoax you present are the teachers that deny evolution and try to keep kids from learning about reality.

not a hoax
It was known by all but the really uneducated that he was human.
The real problem was the god fearing racist Christians that thought all blacks were the sons of Ham.
But it wasn't a hoax, just a great example of the racism that unfortunately is still a reality in the US.

Really off topic but needed a response.
Sorry but as a Christian I gotta say that the Creator you are trying to market is nothing more than a bling-bling pimp daddy unworthy of even acknowledgement much less worthy of respect or worship. Sorry but the God you are trying to market deserves nothing but contempt.
It is also totally irrelevant to the topic and totally false as well since almost all recognized major Christian sects have no problem with either the fact of evolution or with the Theory of Evolution as the only current explanation for the variety of life seen on Earth.
