I was reading about that on another thread and saw someone say that the constancy of the quasar period proves setterfields speed of light theories wrong. Can someone point me to an article on the web where this was done?

Why don't you ask Pollux, who mentioned it, on the thread on which he mentioned it?
Also, why don't you reserve the word "theory" for ideas that have earned the accolade?

Alternative to Dr A's suggestion you could also try posting your question to Quick Questions, Short Answers - No Debate. Either way, it's not really a thread in its own right, so I'll close this one down.
