Rahvin, in "Studying the Supernatural"
I want to nominate Rahvin's reply to me, Message 174, in the thread "Studying the Supernatural" in the "Is it Science" forum. It is brilliantly written so that with a bit of effort even the ultimate lay person that I am can grasp what he is saying. It doesn't mean that I agree with his ultimate conclusion but he does an incredible job of explaing his rationale. He has very generously put in a great deal of time and thought into the post which is remarkable considering my obvious lack of scientific knowledge in the area we are discussing. I now have to figure out how to respond. I'm glad it's a discussion and not a debate. If it was a debate it would be his cannon against my pea shooter. Edited by Adminnemooseus, : Add ", in "Studying the supernatural"" to subtitle
Everybody is entitled to my opinion.

GDR's Limerickal Lunacy
I have to nominate GDR for his raft of limericks putting forward his theistic position. An entire frikkin argument done entirely in limerickal rhyme!!!! With proper cadence and points well made!! It's insane but incredibly impressive. I have tried to keep up. But both in terms of style and content I have failed despite my genuine best efforts. I can't make my points stick to the right format and when I do they don't seem to really get what is meant across. I will keep trying. But it is a one sided contest so far.
Creativity Corner Message 62 and all the one's prior (and quite possibly all the ones after too - although that remains to be seen - obviously)

Re: Dr Adequate, at "Occupy Wall Street"
A hearty seconding, based on content alone. As a bonus, he used orthogonal in a perfectly natural way. "If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you can collect a lot of heads."

Rahvin's Prison Post
Rahvin's OP in the Crime and Punishment thread is just brilliant. I somehow don't find that just giving it a 'cheer' goes far enough.

Re: Rahvin's Prison Post
Thanks Jon! If I were Dictator for a Day, my very first act would be to completely demolish and rebuild from scratch the entire American "justice" system. The second would be Universal Health Care.

Re: Rahvin's Prison Post
You beat me to it, Jon. Rahvin's OP is well reasoned, persuasive, backed with evidence: a magisterial introduction to the failures of American justice. "If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you can collect a lot of heads."
