An experiment here worth a mention
The basis of RNA
Life maybe well on it's way
Perhaps the first step in our ascension?But if we can agree about my socks
Agree to just ignore those old rocks
There will be no need
Our minds can be freed
From the science Vs religion paradox

Regarding the questions of the origins of life
It seems EvC tensions will always be rife
But if the original brew
Is just my old shoe
Maybe sock theory can end this strife?
Amino acids
Are never placid
But what if my shoe is the midwife of life?

Curses to you

In limerick school I did my time
There they taught me the rules of limerick rhyme
I feel like a sap
So I'll just stick to rap
And never again will I commit such a terrible crime(Well at least not until next time)

But who caused the causer I ask?
An eternal creator nothing more than a mask
Are we on top of a turtle?
To infinity the pile hurtles
And in deep ignorance we continue to bask

But what if this thing called causality
Is a property only of our universality
Something just is
So why not this?
No need to invoke any mystical personality

When we talk of our universe and what came prior
We will inevitably end up in a speculative quagmire
Of any particular call
The probability vanishingly small
So anyone who says they "know" is a big fat liar

There are so many darn possibilities
To choose just one defies probability
God rather than not
Is to take a pot shot
That frankly smacks of anthropomorphicity

Why must it be one or t'other
Sheer probability suggests it will be quite another
God or not
Ignores such a lot
And provides no justification for your cosmographerTo admit infinite possibilities is respectable
As a basis for agnosticism perfectly acceptable
Heads or tails
On this question just fails
And denies opportunities for research that might be delectableSo I say be agnostic completely
Accept our ignorance humbly and meekly
With no evidence in hand
We can't be so grand
To assume an intelligence quite so routinely

If your claim is evidence free
Then I will view it atheistically
Nothing for it
Then I'll adore it
As that which was created imaginativelyAlways been agnostic re where things come from
Because I don't see it as a two headed problem
I am atheistic
Though not pessimistic
I consider the answer "god" no more valid than "goblins"God is one option oh so unlikely
When we consider all of the things that might be
Chances are tiny
That "He" is behind it
Even if the true answer lies forever beyond our mastery(I am now struggling to get my point across in even remotely limerickal format)

Too black and white and simplistic
That between god or NOT we must pick
It’s not fifty-fifty
Those odds are too shifty
So that’s why I remain atheisticTo restrict the options to two

There are so many
And it could be any
The options you list just too few to be trueStill thinking far too anthropomorphically
Imbuing nature with consciousness just like me
A vacuous assumption
Too full of presumption
Better to view reality more realisticallyBeing agnostic regarding first cause
Is a position with very few flaws
But to call it divine
Is a meaningless line
When everything known flows from natural laws

Too fucking drunk to be meaningful
Far far to gone to be reasonable
GDR better than me
This much I can see
Yet I find that barely conceivableMany hours in the pub
Led astray by that Beelzebub
Drunk too much

And now I feel the need to eat some glorious grubIt's probably just dehydration
But my hunger needs alleviation
Kebab looks nice
But I'll pay the price

Your beliefs are subjective indeed
Based on the most very human of needs
I don’t know
What makes reality flow
But from superstition our minds need be freedQuestion of how things exist
Deserves our most evidenced hypothesis
Humble beginnings

But God that just is contradicts this analysis
