What the hell does "the first recording of life form groupings" even mean? Actually, that one's somewhat understandable. The first written classification of life into groups. Earlier Linnaeus. Why it matters I don't know, since the Genesis classification is so inaccurate. I'm no expert, but I seem to recall that the classifications in Genesis are derived from some earlier work.

I suggest "Narmer", an Egyptian Pharaoh of both Upper and Lower Egypt who lived in the 32nd century BC. What's the oldest human NAME on record? What do you think is the oldest name on record? Edited by Panda, : No reason given.

ADAM. 5770 years old; the proof of it is irrelevent to being the oldest via the given time factor. Was that a question?

There is no record of history per se outside that date and writings. However, its truth does not impact. It remains the oldest 'RECORDED' declaration.
