No the Battle of Robert's ridge involved three Chinooks and was a rescue operation after a big cumbersome Chinook was hit by an RPG and Petty Officer First Class Neil C. Roberts fell out. 2 big cumbersome chinooks were damaged and crashed and another experienced engine failure. Not related at all, DA.The question remains, why so many from the unit, so soon after the Bin Laden killing, 23 of which were involved in the death of BinLadden. The choppers used in the Bin Laden raid were multiple special secret stealth ones with a few SEAL eggs in one basket, so to speak.

Yes it is. It's another example of the C-in-C personally making decisions about operational minutiae in a manner detrimental to Our Troops. He ties their shoelaces, he picks their helicopters, quite possibly he brushes their teeth for them and is responsible for all cases of military gingivitis. We should really have arranged an armistice with the Taliban after killing their leader. Obama shoulda phoned them up and said: "Could we have a few months break from this war stuff now?"
