People with harmless drug convictions shouldn't be in prison. What I mean by the country club is day rooms, athletic equipment etc. Prison should be for punishment to the dregs of society murderers, rapists, robbers, arsonists etc not foe non violent drug offenders, and things such as public intoxication or petty larceny.

Like what, other than signing petitions, what else can one do to get a corrupt system corrected? Until the system stops treating all criminals, whether petty or severe, the same nothing good can come out of it. When a person who has several CP photos on his PC gets 20 years, whereas a murderer sentenced to life without parole, gets out in 3, do to overcrowding, and then kills some one else there is something wrong. If peopl, like the the CP person had a legit sentence ie: a fine, community service and counseling, there wouldn't be overcrowding and a murderer given life without parole would get that, instead of being released to kill again 2000 mile away.Edited by bluescat48, : added sentence.

How is a picture of a nude boy or girl, exploitation. What certain states classify as CP isn't. Even if it were actual or simulated sexual acts, why should it require prison time. For individuals who take CP pictures, that is another story, sexual child molestation which should result in Prison time.
