I think calling it a forgery is also going a bit far.There is no indication that I know of for considering it a forgery, particularly when the common accepted practices at the time would not have seen it that way.Is the "Seven Percent Solution" a forgery because it claims to be the memoirs of Dr. Watson? Gday, I don't.It was deliberately written by someone OTHER than Peter, in the NAME of Peter - that's a forgery.Scholars of course, don't use that term, and prefer 'pseudograph' or similar. It is widely considered by modern NT scholars to NOT be by Peter - a very clear indication it was a forgery. You're hilarious, IC. Do you know that? Your "unchangeable truth" has changed quite a bit in my lifetime, let alone since a couple of centuries ago, when you were directed to burn or hang witches and to keep slaves. Just fifty years ago women were Directed By God to never wear pants except on vacation and to cover their heads in church. Couples with disparate amounts of melanin in their skin were Directed By God not to marry, at least by the God Who was predominate in the southern USA.
