When i called Norton, and told them that my service provider had hired them as a standard anti virus, they essentially told me the same thing. Pay us, and we will fix your problem. One of the last attempts was just a message taking the place of the forums themselves with the note "... Pay me $250 and I'll fix your problems."
Obviously, I refused, and even with my limited computer knowledge, I figured out how to remove the bug for free. (Installed Windows Defender and had it taken off) Never pay a criminal to take care of your problem. That's the moral I learned. Edited by Phat, :
