Ink weight is a bit heavy - can that be changed?

You missed my point. I was asking how long it took to format the equation in latex?
Not far off normal typing speed. Once you know TeX you can type it out about as quickly as you can think it - sometimes you have to go back and refine things but it's designed to give you the most natural looking mathematics from the start. The example I gave is pathetically trivial.
