I'm not really familiar with either Taibbi -- I don't watch TV and I prefer physical print over websites, so I'm kind of ignorant of these things. I don't even check on Pharyngula as often as I should!I got this quote from an article to which someone else linked on another message board, (And in that article, Taibbi claims that the Soviet Union is a better comparison to the Bush Administration!)Edited by Chiroptera, : added "on another message board"

Three things about debating Tal(1) you aren't - you talk past him, he tells you what to think
(2) he's always right - far right.
(3) (1) proves (2) and if in doubt refer to (2) ... ;DAll kidding aside, you do have to wait for periods when Tal can post - he's in Iraqenjoy.

Hello all and thanks for all the warm replies . I sure do miss this place at times. I thought my post would be taken in the context of the OP, that man made global warming is causing extinctions, as that is the claim of the OP and people who believe in global warming. Unless you'd like to claim that man made CO2 being released into the atmosphere is the cause of T. Rex dying off, then I really have no argument with you.I wish some of you would stop with the venom though. I understand you are upset with me because I don't believe what you do, but that's no reason to go slamming every post I make in every forum with contempt.RAZ is correct. I can't get on here as often as I'd like. 12 months down, 3 to go.

Hi all,This is my first post here.If somebody takes The Bible literally then they have to believe that God left us to look after the planet but quite often creationists believe in other things too.Many Creationists aren't concernerd about the Earth because they believe that soon we'll get raptured and God will make a new Earth.Kevin
