Hi KtTE, and welcome to EvC.
If somebody takes The Bible literally then they have to believe that God left us to look after the planet but quite often creationists believe in other things too.
Many Creationists aren't concernerd about the Earth because they believe that soon we'll get raptured and God will make a new Earth.
Just to be the douche that nip-picks your first post, , I believe that "creationist" and Christian creationist do differ in their opinion of the Earth. Many don't believe in a rapture but do believe in a god(s) that created everything.
