Great Debate ?
Seems Peaceharris request time and its developing more into a debate between Peaceharris and Joe.
P.S. I personally don't feel Joe is capable of debating without attacking the messenger.

Johnfolton Suspended 24 Hours
Hi Johnfolton,
Please take a 24 hour break for posting nonsense in the Geologists and dating (India Basins Half a Billion Years Older Than Thought) thread and then following that by using this thread to make deprecating statements about another member.
No replies, please.

Re: Is txchvs also Eggasai/Mark Kennedy ?
No, it is him.
Kennedy/Eggasi is stationed at Ft. Stewart. He just keeps peddling the same bogus 'arguments' wherever he can and under different names.

This is a reply to Petrophysics1's Message 101.
Hi Petrophysics,
We all find it frustrating when we're the object of ignorant accusations, but Ray's topic proposal doesn't meet our standards, and neither does most of his participation here at EvC Forum. There would be little to be gained anyway because one only looks foolish when drawn into an argument with a fool. Besides, anyone with even just a little discernment can see that proposal for what it is, an ignorant attempt by an ignoramus to get a rise out of evolutionists.
Sorry.

card testing experiment
Quantum computer solves problem, without running
Quantum computer solves problem, without runn | EurekAlert!
That is basically an implementation of the bomb testing experiment. So this is all real, fully experimentally validated, but I think you're right that the drawing is in error.
Anyway the point is that the paths are equivalent, and that no decision takes place in the paths, except if the bomb is good, or the card is equal. Reflecting is not the point.
It is alright to construct some "if then" logic in your mind at the point where the card is drawn. The logic just must all be automated, predetermined.

Bomb Tester
I'm not an expert in Quantum theory, but...
The text about the plunger seems to be an aside, and the text will probably make more sense if it is ignored. Elsewhere in the text it is stated that the bomb either absorbs or transmits a photon.
The text of the article may or may not be entirely accurate but it looks as if something genuine is behind it.
However, that is not a good reason to accept the topic proposal because the proposed "experiment" has almost nothing to do with the "bomb tester". Unless, perhaps Syamasu intends to "set up the circuit in his brain" by having the mirrors and other apparatus needed surgically implanted in his skull.

Re: Bomb Tester
Yeah, that's a good point about the plunger. Maybe there were too many fingers in the pot in that article. I feel like I'm developing a better understanding of it, though, so I'll try taking another look at Syamsu's proposal now.

Re: Bomb Tester
You dont know, the implementation of the experiment is 2006, you dont know.
The many world interpretation mentioned in the article is farfetched, simple common knowledge choosing interpretation is reasonable.

Bravo NosyNed vs. IAEE
Bravo NosyNed for your response to this New Topic Proposal.
I'd really like to open a new topic on this IAEE guy but don't have time right now.

RickCHodgin - Infra-red Eyes, no less ...
RickCHodgin makes a typical creationist first post, in Evolution would've given us infrared eyesight ...
... he gives a long explanation of why infra-red eyes would be a good design feature, and then concludes that because we do not have such a feature, that we must be designed.
You may want to ask him if he really wants to post that, and if he is ready for a piling on of responses.
Enjoy.
