Fixed OP Grammatically
Hi Zawi. Thanks for the heads up on grammar. I should have done a better proof read. I fixed it like I had intended it to be.

Yeah. That's one of the really big problems that that an Obama presidency presents, as I've been hearing. I mean, this presidency is supposed to present some very serious problems for comics. I mean, the Bush presidency has present such rich material for comics. And now they're presented with a President who can actually string words together into coherent sentences. Who is actually able to think. I mean, how are comics supposed to deal with something like that?
Of course, Rush and his ilk will have a field-day. They're going to be crying all the way to the bank.

Re: Far Leftism
Case in point that you're wrong: The gay marriage defeat in Ca where 70% of blacks and a majority of latinoes helped uphold the majority traditional marriage values, contrary to Obama, who btw, is rated 4th most liberal member of Congress.
Except that Obama doesn't support gay marriage. So even your single counter-example (which wouldn't by itself refute my point anyway) is factually incorrect.

1. You and your friends here would do well to read again with your heads cinched down. The five apostrophized words are possessive by the list of organizations relative to the candidate.
2. Btw, Jihad is a proper name as is Jihadist, properly capitalized.

I understand he has indicated that he would not impose a gay marriage ban, citing the Constitution in one of his interviews which I heard. I don't know why he is concerned about the Constitution, given some recent comments regarding it's alleged problems which I also heard.

Not imposing a ban is not the same as supporting, yes? Maybe he feels that as President he doesn't (and shouldn't) have the right to interfere with the decisions of the states. Unlike conservatives who are all in favor of "states rights" as long as the states want to implement their policies, but then start squawking about the need for federal oversight once the states decide to go against conservative policies.

I also think the Constitution has some serious problems. I also acknowledge that it is the one that we actual have. What is your point?

According to the Yahoo Dashboard, Obama has just over 65 million votes to McCains ~57,150,000 votes. We're still getting in a lot of absentee and other ballots, so the total number keeps on rising for both, but Obama now has a 7,859,841 lead over McCain (greater than his earlier ~7.7 million lead).
That's the greatest absolute margin since Clinton's '96 victory over Dole and Reagan's victories over Carter and Mondale. All three had a greater total spread than Obama right now.
Percentage wise, he has the greatest percentage since Bush the Elder, but Reagan and Clinton had greater margins of victory.
All in all, an impressive, commanding victory by Obama that seems to grow with time as more votes are counted.

Oh, im sure we'll do fine. No president has ever let us down. lol
Urban comics are going to have alot of material now though.

Well, there's always O'Reilly and the FoxNews comedic dream team. Those guys are always blasting off at the mouth with some dumbass comment.

Hey Buz, did you spew this invective against the previous democratic presidents in your lifetime? I'm assuming that would be FDR, Truman, Kennedy, LBJ, Carter, and Clinton.
Or have you simply become more spiteful, more hate-filled, more fear-mongering over time?

Predicts for Obamicts
A'hoy there, Buzsaw.
I also have alist a to how the Obama years will be like. Its a bit different from yours, but I hope its pretty good.
Here's it goes; !
1. Partial socialized medicine (Why cant we have pure universal healthcare?)
2. Socialized higher education (Hah! I wish!!)
3. More left leaning supreme court (Good for the environment, bad for the Pro-life movement. To me its a double edged sword)
4.Stricter Gun control, peraps ban on handguns (if you have'em, HIDE EM! Just in case.)
5.Perhaps economic recovery (A BIG IF)
6. Better EPA (Any is better than Bush JR')
7. Stronger measures against Global Warming, rejoining Kyoto (Might hurt economy more, but i'd go for it).
8. More NASA funding (Hhehehehhahahahahahahaha! That was a joke more than a prediction)
9. Out of Iraq, thousands more to fight in Afganistan (Finally!)
10. Undermining, perhaps undoing of Partial-birth Abortion ban (hey, for pro-lifers like me, it gets worse!)
11. Roe v Wade still going strong 35 years from now (Stil more!)
12. No help for infants orn in botched abortions (Doesn't that make a beautiful picture in your head, the words "Botched abortions")
13. Obama will say, albeit rarely, some word mishaps
14. Extreme hatred of Obama by the ultra right, just like with Bill Clinton, perhaps worse
15. War protesters by and large will either have to focus their attention onto Afghanistan, or find something else to do for kicks.
16. Less manned, less funded, more technoligically advanced, highly lethal military, like under Clinton.
17. Osama may be caught (I'd like to see that soon!)
18. Stronger laws for violating the endangered species act (I wonder if he'll do that, but i'm perhaps being too optimistic).
19. He'll get a second term (It might not matter if he runs the nation too the ground; his charisma and "cult of personality" will possibly win through).
20. Higher taxes
21. Repeal of Bush tax cuts
22. ease of tensions with Russia, North Korea, Syria, and repaired relations with our allies (Americans care more for economy than that, but it could happen).
23. Michael Moore will have to work harder to find material for movies.
24. A new first kid will be born during the first term
25. Gay Marriage made legal
26. Polygamy will be afterwards debated by te Supreme court
27. Conservatives, perhaps even snl, will make fun of the Obama children, like both did of Chelsie Clinton during the Clinton era.
28. Republicans will either consider the 2012 election lost before it starts (ike the Democrats did with the 2004 election) or turn out in mass droves to remove Obama.
29. Higher tensions with pakistan
30. Legalized Marijuana (?)

4. Paramilitary civilian government controlled services required upon every young person
Well, seems good 'ole Buz is right about this one. He's going to, gasp!, require students to do community service! Perish the thought that people actually work to give back to the community!
serve.JPG (image)
From this wonderful little blog:
Page not found
It's not the service that gets this guy. It's that it won't be churches doing it. Which I guess is bad, because then churches won't be able to "indoctrinate" it's young volunteers. How ridiculous.
I suppose the commentators would also have a problem with the draft (as they bring up the 13th amendment, which prohibits slavery, which they link to required community service, which is little different than required military service except you stand a lesser chance of getting killed)? Or is a draft a good thing? You know, indocrtinate all those young people with discipline and respect for tradition? Or is that indocrtination okay?
Will conservatives please grow up? You guys still make me sick.

Re: Predicts for Obamicts

I thought McCain had him tucked away somewhere and was going to unveil him a week before the election, claiming to have personally caught him himself.
23. Michael Moore will have to work harder to find material for movies.
, good one.
30. Legalized Marijuana (?)
Naw man, it's easy enough to get, and it makes it special for those who can get it. Fuck the rest, I don't like to share. Plus then the government will have it's greedy hands in it and will probably control the THC levels. Then we'll just get some cheap ass comercial grade government weed that tastes like oregano. No thanks. Keep it illegal, keep it underground, keep it out of government control.
Exception being for medical reasons.
