A person who is a liberal has a serious mental disorder and of course should not be allowed employment in any responsible government position.
Although slightly different, when Clinton took office he fired 93 US attorneys. Did Taz complain then? Of course not, at the time his head was where it normally is, up his ***.

Unlike the neo-cons who like to shred the Constitution, loath simple things like human rights, support war profiteering and torture, and somehow manage to convince people who are worth less than $1M that they are looking out for their personal health and financial interests.
If liberals are as bad as you say they are, then my gosh you must believe that the neo-cons need to be simply ejected into space!

I'll believe it if I see it. Honestly I will. Can you source this?

Re: Clinton Admin firings
So the Clinton Administration followed normal practice, replacing the political appointees after the election. The Bush Administration not only replaced some of their political appointees mid-term for not being partisan enough (unpleasant, but legal) they are also politically screening candidates for other positions (not legal).

OK Dr. Petro, what is this mental disorder? Why do liberals suffer from this "disorder" and conservatives don't?

Re: Clinton Admin firings
I think he is referencing this.
Is this the same Robert H. Bork from the article you posted?
Robert H. Bork
Term as acting Attorney General and the Saturday Night Massacre
Bork served as acting Attorney General of the United States from 1973 to 1974. As acting Attorney General, he is known for carrying out U.S. President Richard Nixon's order to fire Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox following Cox's request for tapes of Oval Office conversations. The firing incident is known as the "Saturday Night Massacre." Nixon's Attorney General Elliot Richardson and Richardson's Deputy Attorney General, William Ruckelshaus, considered the order "fundamentally wrong"[1] and resigned rather than carry it out. Bork believed that Nixon's order to fire Cox was valid and appropriate, but considered resigning to avoid being "perceived as a man who did the President's bidding to save my job"; Richardson and Ruckelshaus told Bork he should not because of the damage a chain of resignations could cause the Department of Justice.[2] Bork became acting head of the United States Department of Justice, and Nixon reiterated his order to fire Cox. Bork complied with Nixon's order and fired Cox. He subsequently resumed his duties as Solicitor General.

Re: Clinton Admin firings
Right okay.
What does any of that have to do with the hiring of non-political appointments that is discussed in the OP?
The controversy is surrounding career positions where normal hiring practices, laws, and ethics apply.

You got to be dreaming.
Politicians having ethics and applying them.

Look, you asked for proof that Clinton fired upwards of 90 people. I just provided what you asked for. I honestly don't know the circumstances surrounding it, nor do I particularly care. Don't shoot the messenger.

I asked you for proof that Clinton ate apples, you gave me an article talking about Clinton eating oranges.
You were the messanger for something, but it was irrelevant to the conversation. I am not shooting you I am shooting your message.
The OP is about the political screening of career positions, not political appointments. It the difference between being buddy buddy with the prez/going before the Senate in a confirmation hearing and handing your resume over to a recruiter.
