Re: Griz, many messages at "Reconstructing the Historical Jesus"
Moose, you beat me to it! I was also intending to nominate this for POTM, but I guess that I'll just have to settle for seconding your nomination.
Grizz writes: It appears the auditorium is empty but this will give me the chance to present my argument and conclusions without interruption. Perhaps people will debate the issues at a later time. Just because not many have replied, doesn't mean that no-one is paying attention. The historical Jesus is an interesting subject when stripped of dogma. I have very much enjoyed reading this thread and I appreciate the time and effort that Grizz has clearly put into it.

Chiroptera, at "EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed...", on Nazism/eugentics
Author: Chiroptera Forum: Links and Information Thread: EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed - Science Under Attack Message #: 136 A nice concise statement on why actions (possibly) taken based on evolutionary beliefs have no relevance to the validity of the facts and theory of evolution. Moose
Side note from Adminnemooseus: That debate should not be happening in the "Links and Information" forum. That forum, as I see it, is a place for essentially bare links and not a debate forum. I'm not sure it's worth the storage space to move in now. In all, the existence of "L&I" is problematic. That said, no debate in this topic, either about the nominated message or the state of "L&I". A further side note from Adminnemooseus: Let's not get frivolous about it, but aren't there more POTM quality messages happening than this topic indicates? If you find a message that you think is special in a good way, give it a plug in the POTM forum.

Thanks, and nominating Percy in "What is a Theory"
Thank you for the nomination of the Historical Jesus thread. I wasn't sure if there was any interest due to the long-winded approach or the nature of the topic. Also, I would like to nominate a specific post by the member Percy in reply to the OP 'What is a Theory'. It would be hard to improve on this one.
What Is A Theory, Post #5 Edited by Adminnemooseus, : Added subtitle (Thanks, and nominating Percy in "What is a Theory"). It's always nice to have name and topic in subtitle - Then that subtitle shows up in the topic message index which makes it easier to find in the future.

Percy -- The Impossibility of the Flood #39
I think Percy's Message #39 gives a very good analysis of the mindset and logical problems with the "scientific" ID side. I hope a lot of creationists read that thread and realize, from reading my arguments for them and Percy's and Rrhain's arguments against them, why their way of doing things isn't very scientific.
