So you don't like it when gay republicans tap your shoe in the restroom to signal a blow-job. Has it occured to you that women even hate it a lot more when straight men straight out proposition them for a quick and cheap blow-job ending with "see you later, bitch"?
TD, I'd stay out of the gay bars if I were you. They are only confusing you about your sexuality. And what about the kooties? By the way, what I began to notice after a while was that the gay bars also had horny straight men walking around hoping to pick up an easy one night stand and picking fights with the gay men who mistakenly thought those horny straight men were gay men just out looking for a good time. ”HM

Does anyone know if NARTH is for real?
Disclaimer: Occasionally, owing to the deficiency of the English language, I have used he/him/his meaning he or she/him or her/his or her in order to avoid awkwardness of style. He, him, and his are not intended as exclusively masculine pronouns. They may refer to either sex or to both sexes!

Unfortunatly, it does appear to be a real group, not a spoof. Here's a page from Religious Tolerance about them: NARTH: National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality

if you think that being sensitive to the concerns of women who are continuously sexually abused by men means that one is confused about his sexuality, then you, my dear, need to pull your head out of your ass.

Maybe those "women who are continuously sexually abused by men" need to stay out of bars altogether. Maybe those "women who are continuously sexually abused by men" need a good session with Dr. Phil or Dr. Laura or somebody. Why can't more straight men behave like queers and just leave the "women who are continuously sexually abused by men" alone? ”HM

Maybe those "women who are continuously sexually abused by men" need to stay out of bars altogether. Why? Why shouldn't it be their abusers who stay out of the bars? Boys will be boys, is that it?

More time in the kitchen and less time in the bars right? Amazingly progressive. Instead of fixing the problem (abusive men) lets punish the victim. Can we find a way to punish the victims of other crimes too? How long till your particular sect of Christianity adopts the burqa I wonder? -x

Maybe those "women who are continuously sexually abused by men" need to stay out of bars altogether. cause women only go to bars to pick up men? they can't possibly go to have a few drinks with friends and have some fun with the people they came with.
Maybe those "women who are continuously sexually abused by men" need a good session with Dr. Phil or Dr. Laura or somebody. being in public seems to be the determinant of being open to abuse. the abuse i'm referring to is being verbally and physically assaulted by complete strangers who think that her body exists for them to holler at or grope. if you think that existing and being in public warrants therapy, then maybe you have a point. instead, i think people should raise their sons to be human beings instead of walking assholes.

And just when I thought you were starting to come to your senses... Maybe those "women who are continuously sexually abused by men" need to stay out of bars altogether. Your comment sounds very similar to the "if she had been covering herself up rather than wearing short shorts she wouldn't have gotten raped" attitude. It may surprise you to know that women, like men, also have friends and also like to go out to have a good time.

I'm not just talking about the abusive cases. I'm also talking about the annoying cases.
Why can't more straight men behave like queers and just leave the "women who are continuously sexually abused by men" alone?
It actually never occured to you that men can approach women without without hollering at them or slapping their butts? I approach women in bars all the time and they don't seem to mind. How? It's a little not very well known thing called politeness. I know it's hard for a straight man like yourself to imagine yourself being in such a position. Just imagine how annoying it would be if you go in a bar just to have a good time with your friends and all that happens is every gay man in the bar line up to slap you in the butt and holler at you yelling how hot your body is and they want you to give them a blowjob. Now, imagine how scared you would be if there is actually a possibility of rape.

They could have them all castrated, you know, and that would solve the problem. What are men, anyway, if not obnoxious blobs of meat evolved to carry testicles between their hind legs? Don't blame us, though, we're only the agents of testosterone. What do you expect from us? We're natural-born steroid junkies. But it's only a chemical thing, so it's not our fault. Ask Ringo. ”HM

Ask Ringo. It's a chemical thing at the molecular level and a biological thing at the individual (organism) level. That's not an excuse for bad behaviour at the social level.

quote: Why should I, a woman who has never sexually harassed anyone, stay out of a bar? I never cause any problems or bother anybody. Shouldn't the jerks who are behaving poorly be made to stay away? Hey, I know. Maybe women should have to wear burkahs and chastity belts because it has never occurred to anyone to require the men to not harass the women.
quote: It sounds to me that the men doing the harassing are the ones needing the counselling. Or do you think that women secretly enjoy being seually abused and harassed?
quote: Yeah, why can't they actually treat women as people rather than potential sexual favor providers? What you don't know about about what it is like to live in the world as a woman is a lot, Hoot. Edited by Adminnemooseus, : No reason given.
