AbE: ``I shudder to think where the country would be right now if the religious right had not evolved,'' {Falwell} said when he stepped down as Moral Majority president in 1987.
That's why he was called home. A closet Evilutionist.
How does "had not a damn thing to do with...." equate to "helped it happen?" Was it not Saudi terrorists that hijacked those planes? Not lesbians or feminists? Wasn't it people from a place that they kill guys if they find them boinking each other? Wasn't it guys who viewed Christianity as an enemy as big as America?
Note also that the ACLU defended Pat Robertson in a case a few years back....
Well, there were never a "first two humans" - there was some population considerably larger than two at some long-gone time where you could draw an imaginary line and say "these are humans now." Similar to how you could draw an imaginary line in time and say "these people are speaking Middle English and not Old English now."

Ummm...wasn't it this Jesus who said "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." ?? And that in reference to Leviticus?

Another Dominionist, but at least Gingerich has high moral standards. For people other than himself, anyway. Error - seattlepi.com
