8. How did all the elements that created our fossil fuels get together in the places they are in? 8. not a question that the ToE will give you an answer too, go talk to the geology people. I will accept that for right now but will add it back for more explanation with one of my tougher questions.

All of these questions pretain to why I don't see how anyone can believe in the ToE. Yet you continue to repeat falsehoods? You have been told. No one "believes" in the Theory of Evolution", it is simply the best explanation to date for the evidence seen. There is ZERO evidence for some God poofing fully formed critters into existence. ICANT's laundry list of questions will destroy this thread with topic digressions.
ICANT: As suggested pick individual questions and open threads for each. Try to go back to what you should have learned and pick those actually relevant to evolutionary biology. I'm closing the topic for a couple of hours to allow everyone to note that they should avoid ICANT laundry list.

Are you going to define "kind", or not? quote: I was going to suggest that we take this discussion of "kind" to another thread, but it would be a waste of bandwidth. I'll put this to rest right now. "Kind" is not a scientific term. It is one that is used only by Creationists. If there actually was a definition, you would have provided it by now. There is no definion. If there actually was a method that any believer or non-believer could use to determine one "kind" from another, you would have been able to explain it to me. There isn't. It is a sad little attempt by Creationists to make the bible into a science text. They tried to mimic scientific taxonomy and, as you can see, fail miserably. You have been lied to, my friend.
quote: I'm going to ask this as plainly as I can. Do you think that people with PhD's in Biology are stupid?

I vaguely remember someone on here repeatedly making the claim that biologists are not stupid, they just don't have "god-sight"... or something like that. Do you think that people with PhD's in Biology are stupid?
I also saw on CNN Larry King where he invited a reverend creationist on the show. The reverend said that he's been to a university a few times and have found that while it had a lot of knowledge there was no wisdom at all. Larry King asked him what he meant by wisdom and the reverend said that wisdom was seeing god as the driving force behind everything. So, clearly, at least some creationists are not saying biologists are stupid. They're just saying that biologists don't have the so-called god-sight. And thank goodness for that!

Don't cry to me about sarcasm and snide remarks regarding your entirely willful ignorance if you are also going to criticise others who are far more informed than you are. THAT, my friend, is real arrogance. You misspelled 'criticize' Unless you meant 'criticise', which means 'to analyze'... Edited by One_Charred_Wing, : Had to take out the 'end rant' part for the snide criticism to be effective.

Oh, no, I meant "criticize".
And, FYI, I do hope you aren't planning on following me around the board to correct my spelling, as you won't have time for anything else. Welcome back, Born2. Edited by nator, : No reason given.

Thank you very much, nator. Rest assured, I won't become the self-appointed word police. I did that in a rather successful attempt to cure my temporary insomnia.

AnswersInGenitals: In the US, there are probably about 20 times as many Clausians as biologists (where a Clausian is a person who accepts the validity of the existence of Santa Claus based on the overwhelming evidence). And yet, the majority of people in the US reject the validity of SC's existence, even though they are familiar with the same evidence, and in many cases were the ones who first exposed the believers to that evidence. I have no idea if this is relevant to your point, or if its just one of those tu quoquequidproquo arguments that MiketheWhiz is so fond of exposing. All I know is, if the Sun says it, it's so. So it's ok to believe in ToE, and creation?

So it's ok to believe in ToE, and creation? I've never met a creationist that didn't! It's natural history they have the beef with.
