Gods fury/ Placing blame
December 26, 2004 = 230,000 people dead in one of the worst natural disasters in recorded history.
Great Hanshin earthquake (1995). Killed over 6,400 people in and around Kobe, Japan.
Chi-Chi earthquake (1999) Also called the 921 earthquake. Struck Taiwan on September 21 1999. Over 2,000 people killed, destroyed or damaged over ten thousand buildings
zmit earthquake (1999) Killed over 17,000 in northwestern Turkey
Bam Earthquake (2003). Over 40,000 people are reported dead
Kashmir earthquake (2005). Killed over 79,000 people
1998 Yangtze River Floods left 14 million people homeless
(Source: Wikipedia)
There are many more examples of disasters that occured in the timescale that you have posted. I am curious if Gods wrath was incurred on these countries for misdeeds to Israel?
Does God only show his wrath on United States when screwing up deals with Israel, or is he an equal opportunity destroyer? Does God only keep his eye on the United States, or perhaps you are unaware that equally devastating disasters happen world wide and it is simply impossible to link them to God leaving a message not to mess with Israel.

Amid my hunt for snickers bars and my search for meaning in Key lime pie I completely misunderstood what you where saying Archer.
Complete re-edit of my post, but its not like I had used it to contribute to debate.

Placing blame
Thanks for the info Charley but it does not answer my question. God was angry at Bill Clinton and destroyed California - In the examples I supplied who was God mad at in those countries administration to justify the natural disasters He employed?
Does God only send messages through natural disasters when trying to speak to the USA? If so, why was he not a bit more direct and destroy the home of Bill Clinton instead of destroying buildings on the other side of the continent?
This mysterious quake, centered in Northridge...
I wonder if you could aslo clarify for me what makes this quake mysterious while others are not? Where the quakes that I supplied somehow typical and predictable while the Northridge was out of the ordinary and completely unexpected? California is common for quakes and they expect to get more - where then is the mystery I wonder?

Re: Placing blame
There are other countries in the world that have suffered natural disasters! You changed the topic to Katrina - this is still in the realm of the USA.
What did Tailand, India, and Indonesia do to Isreal on December 25, 2004 that made God decide to kill a few hundred thousand people the next day? Is that specific enough?
This is the second largest quake ever recorded! We arent talking about a quake that killed a few hundred or a hurricane that wiped out a city - this killed hundreds of thousands of people. Surely they must have done something quite horrific to Isreal the day before this occured?

Re: Placing blame
What was the Indonesia government response to the Christians being beheaded before the tusami.
I am not sure, did they make a speech about it on December 25, 2004? Did this have some sort of impact on Isreal? They are not Christians so I do not see what the relevance is.
How did India and Thailand play a part in this?
One ministry in Jakarta chartered a plane to fly in a team of physicians with emergency medicines and medical supplies.
The Maasai donated the USA 12 cows after 911 even though they are not Christians... whats the point? What did those countries do to Isreal before they got hammered by a tidal wave? ... nothing
He was making it crystal clear that when a nation or nations move against His people, HE WILL RISE UP AND JUDGE THAT NATION!
Its your topic.

Re: Placing blame
Any chance you could explain how Ephesians 3:6 and Nahum 1:2 are to draw me to the conclusion that God has taken revenge against these countries due to infractions against Jews?
Perhaps you may just want to edit your original statement to say that God is only interested in revenge if the offending country happens to be the USA.
I am leaning more and more to key lime pie.

Re: Placing blame
Fair enough.
BBC NEWS | Asia-Pacific | Three Indonesian girls beheaded
Those girls where killed almost 2 months before the earthquake struck, I thought God worked on a 24 hour timeline?
Side Note:
Wikipedia + Timelines.ws writes:
March 26, 1964 - U.S. Defense Secretary Robert McNamara delivers an address that reiterates American determination to give South Vietnam increased military and economic aid, in its war against the Communist insurgency.
Mar 26, 1964 - Pres. Johnson signed a document that accepted "pre-delegation authority." It authorized senior military commanders to use nuclear weapons if the US was attacked by nuclear weapons and the president could not be reached
March 27, 1964 - The Good Friday Earthquake, the most powerful earthquake in U.S. history at a magnitude of 9.2, strikes South Central Alaska, killing 125 people and inflicting massive damage to the city of Anchorage, Alaska.
Conclusion- God warning the USA to leave the commies alone?
Wikipedia writes:
May 17, 1980 After the Coup d'état of December Twelfth (1979) in Seoul, General Chun Doo-hwan declared martial law to suppress student demonstrations around the country. For the period of Chun Doo Hwan's reign, the incident was officially regarded as a rebellion inspired by Communist sympathisers.
May 17, 1980 Rioting that claimed 18 lives erupted in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood after an all-white jury in Tampa acquitted four former Miami police officers of fatally beating black insurance executive Arthur McDuffie.
May 18, 1980 Mount St. Helens erupted
Conclusion - Divided between blacks and commies
I still do not see how you have proved that God is showing his fury in natural disasters. Its not hard really to look at a disaster, read back on the previous days news headlines and start making up prophetic sounding posts. I actually had no problem finding the right quotes that show God loves communists, with enough time I am sure you could find an example for each and every major event in the last 50 years that favor jews/christians in Gods fury... on that note you win.

Gods fault lines
From a quick scan of the map you have posted in post 46 it seems the areas seeing the least amount of earthquakes are Indigenous, Muslim, and Tao beliefs. (Hinduism gets off pretty light also) Christianity does get off ok in some areas of the world, but the Christian dominated US and Europe get a huge amount of Gods wrath. Buddhism however, in its various forms, seems to attract a lot of Gods attention. I cant figure this one out as I can't find any correlation to them persecuting anyone.
The largest area that looks to be completely free of earthquakes is Antarctica, this being an area with the highest percent of people who are not actively observing religion, but instead practicing science.

Re: Gods fault lines
I was thinking of the Siberian Indigenous religion(s), how silly of me to ignore the communists. Shamanism, from the little I know of it, seems well protected in Charley's views.

Re: Gods fault lines
That still does not explain most of Canada and West Africa, which has lots of coast. I also notice Brazil is pretty earthquake free
I never said it was a good theory.
The Anglagard Thong Hypothesis has some merrit, what do those scientists do in the long winters down south?

Re: Gods fault lines
Gays put the bullseye on New Orleans, it was bearing directly for full destruction of New Orleans. However when the gays convening on New Orleans fled, Katrina turned a bit otherwise all in New Orleans would of perished.
This is getting surreal. If I didn't need therapy before this thread, I certainly will by the 300 mark.

The sun heating up (sun spots)
Sun spots are cooler than the surrounding temperature not hotter. Sunspots occur about every 10-12 years following the reversal of the polar fields. This is a normal pattern, and I think you will have some trouble showing this is the cause of global warming.

Re: Servants Heart
Which is the whole reason why Kent Hovind made a stand
So just how much would a person have to earn to end up owing 640,000 dollars to the IRS?
How much money is it going to cost the US to house Kent Hovind while he stamps licence plates for the next decade?

Charley writes:
The IRS has such confusing interpretation that it should be made simple instead of complex in respect to the Christian Organizations in respect to taxation.
How many other Christian Organizations have expressed such confusion? Perhaps Kent should have invested in a tax specialist instead of looking at the papers and saying "screw it, its too confusing. I'm not paying taxes".

For the love of money - Dr.Dino theme song
Perhaps we should just kick those foreign banker out like Christ kicked the money changers out of the temple.
When Christ kicked them out did he scoop up the money and hide behind his followers in hopes of keeping his ill gotten gains? Did Christ steal 640,000 dollars or did he advocate paying taxes? Do you expect me for even one second to accept your comparison of Kent Hovind to Christ?
If we printed our own money we could simply wash the debt
In ten years when Kents back on the road selling videos for extreme wealth, perhaps you can suggest that he spread this idea to his followers. Sadly he never thought of this while he was chaining himself to IRS buildings shouting "We shall overcome!"
