Jainism (54%) I think things like this are actually important, if for no other reason then to get folk to say "that's not me" or "I don't agree with THEM™". Maybe with a list like this someone might next stop and actually look at Neo-Pagan or Hinduism or Mahayana Buddism or ask "What is the difference between Theravada and Mahayana Buddism?" Gee, talk about results being obvious for anyone who's ever read any of my posts on this forum:
0. Utterly apathetic (110%)1. Secular Humanism (100%) 2. Unitarian Universalism (98%) 3. Nontheist (86%) 4. Liberal Quakers (79%) 5. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (75%) 6. Theravada Buddhism (67%) 7. Neo-Pagan (60%) Everything else was below 50%. Curious as to why UU was above nontheist, considering I'm about as far from deist/theist as you can get and still be on the same planet. Wonder which question tripped that answer? My matches over 50%:
1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)2. Secular Humanism (98%) 3. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (89%) 4. Liberal Quakers (85%) 5. Nontheist (79%) 6. Theravada Buddhism (76%) 7. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (68%) 8. Neo-Pagan (62%) 9. Bah' Faith (53%) 10. New Thought (53%) Seems like the thing's rigged somehow. I might have given two answers more applicable to UU than SH, and those were in the area of Contemporary Issues, not questions of faith. For what it's worth, I was raised Whiskeypalian, which is considered to be among "Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestant." Those who would sacrifice an essential liberty for a temporary security will lose both, and deserve neither. -- Benjamin Franklin |

from what I understand, UU's don't really care about what you believe, 'cause it doesn't matter.
I think it's more about accepting others as they are? I think this is the case becuase you've got UU's who belief in the trinity all the way to nontheistic UU's to polytheistic UU's. yeah, a little off-kilter. All a man's knowledge comes from his experiences

Zealous apathy? I have a mandate to proselytize and witness apathy on religious issues. Convert! Or, well, maybe get another beer.

Maybe that's what it stemmed from. For some reason I thought the UU's were basically deist. What do I know?
