Except that the discussion about robbinrohan's comment on the old Vets isn't in line with the topic. Opening Post.The thread veered away from discussing the injunction not to judge people to personal discussions about participants and their opinions.The thread had a chance to get back on track after the first shutdown, but it didn't. The climate remained intemperate.I agree with AdminOmni. The thread is done.

MT, in my humble, fallible mortal moderator opinion, that thread is history: I won't reopen it.I recommend that the topic be recast as a PNT without the personal elements. Threads focused on a participant's personal conduct or style almost always turn into a donnybrook.Surely some clever member can pose the essential question in the abstract or hypothetical, so that every disagreement will not be perceived as a personal attack, and every parry a thrust.
