I hope you don’t get the impression that all military folk are right winged loonies, cuz we’re not. Being a patriot and serving your country doesn’t mean you have to be ultra conservative...not that I blame you, that is a stereo type that gets attached to the military all too often. And as far as Bush goes, he’s definitely one dumb fuck, even more so then Reagan and Reagan had Alzheimer, probably for most of his presidency.Oh and by the way, a jarhead is a marine; fort Bragg is an army base.

Yes, and I don’t think there are a lot of people who have served in the military on this board...so when there is one on this board who is ultra conservative with the same god, country, family, mantra and in total support of Bush and the republican party regardless of how many times he shows what a retard he is, then I think that feeds into the stereotype of the military...hence schraf calling you a jarhead.

There are many terms, grunt for the infantry, I’ve been called a bullet sponge by friends in the navy . .so I guess it depends . there are so many different jobs in the army, there usually isn’t one specific name, unlike the marines that have such a limited job description.Really, I wonder who, I wonder how many have served are conservative or liberal on this board?
