By the time that Israel returns fire there is nobody there but Civilians. 1. Jar, where have I stated that these rockets can be carried in a car? What is your point in this? 2. So you're admitting that Hezbollah terrorists launch from among civilian targets so as for the returning fire to hit the civilians. I'm glad you're beginning to get that straight, that terrorists have no regard for the lives of civilians, so long as their interests in advancing their own power is advanced. Buz, you just keep making things worse for the Israelis. Directing responding fire at the location where rockets were, but are no longer, is simply terrorism. There is no other way to describe it. to which buz strangely replies:

No, I admit no such thing. They launch the rockets from where they live, the areas in southern Lebanon. It is Israel who then returns fire to a location which has already been abandoned by those who fired the rockets. And they launch rockets to hit their targets, it is the Israelis who are then dumb enough to fire their rockets where the terrorists ain't. Buz, sorry but your description of Israeli behavior makes them look not just like terrorist, but like very stupid terrorists. Let me ask you a very simple question. How successful will a duck hunter be who shoots where the duck was a few minutes ago instead of where the duck will be? Aslan is not a Tame Lion

Did you know that for giving away the piece of land for PEACe, Israeli Prime Minister was murdered? Did you know that Ariel Sharon devised a plan hoping that that would stop violence against Israel? Bill clinton and MAdeline Albright supported this. Did this work? No,this was a collossal failure. It would have been better if Albright( She is known as Half bright) had been Fulbright. Your enemy will not stop at anything less than your destruction. For him, PEACE is total annihilation of Israel. Which Government would do this for you? None whatever. Israeli people had been divided so much. However, during this war, the Nation has come together. This is so beautiful.Israel has been a victim of suicide bombings and incessant killings of the innocent for decades of barbarism. Israel wants total disarmament and disbanding of Hezbollah. Yes, this is the right way to go.

Yes and the assassin was a fellow israeli jew. What's your point?
blah blah blah
You're misrepresenting me, nowhere did I say that Israel should roll over. My position is that their current course of action is unnecessarily heavy handed and instead of being aimed towards securing thier safety seems to be a blatant display of cock waving. Edited by DrJones*, : No reason given. Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

How many times do I need to post this evidence But it isn't evidence buz! Your quoted article simply says that Hebollah had, during the period of the conflict, fired rockets from the general area in which the convoy was hit. It does not say there was a launch from the specific spot where the convoy was attacked, not does it say there was a launch at the time of the attack on the convoy. The reason it doesn't say this is because it didn't happen. Even the Israeli military have not said it happened. Oops! Wrong Planet

Hi Brian. I would want to see the Amnesty Int. evidence for this before making a judgement.

I said way back that the Israelis did not know whether the enemy launch site was stationary or a movable vehicle et al. Some they can take out and others get away. I said way back that the Israelis did not know whether the enemy launch site was stationary or a movable vehicle et al. Some they can take out and others get away. So they pull a Dick Cheney and shoot before they know what they are shooting at. Buz, if I were your I'd quit while I was behind. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

Any moving car becomes a target as Israelis turn the screw tactics get tougher
When Zein Zabad made it to the hospital on the outskirts of the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, he thought that he and his family were safe. An Israeli helicopter pilot thought otherwise
All along the coast road were bombed-out civilian cars hit by Israeli forces
The Israeli army has said that its operations are directed only at Hizbollah terrorists, but it is hard to see how this claim squares with a missile attack on a civilian car near a clearly marked hospital.
Now it appears that any vehicle - although almost all are probably used by civilians to flee - is a military target.
And this is from the right-wing press.

A "researcher" from the from some Zionist association in SA was interviewed on one of our breakfast shows today.
One of the things mentioned in defence of Israel's tactics was that the Lebanese civilians had been forewarned of strikes, and told to leave. I thought, OK, that's something....barring the fact that the civilian homes are still going to be destroyed (more than 500 000 displaced). Then it was revealed that while the civilians had been told to leave, the routes of exit had been destroyed! Now how is that supposed to work? If Israel places the civilians in a catch-22, they should not expect any kudos for forewarning them. What i find interesting, is that the main people on here defending Israel's less than ethical tactics, are supposed to be Christian. Does Christianity teach one to throw away all ethics when faced with adversity? Your vehement support of Israel certainly makes me wonder... "The good Christian should beware the mathematician and all those who make empty prophecies. The danger already exists that the mathematicians have made a covenant with the devil to darken the spirit and to confine man in the bonds of hell." - St. Augustine

Sixty years ago, the King David Hotel in Jerusalem was bombed by Irgun 'terrorists' led by Begin, reputedly on orders from Haganah. 91 people of various races were killed.
The Stern gang kidnapped and killed two British soldiers. Apparently, the legitimacy of your actions depends on whether you achieve power in government. Maybe there`s hope for Hamas yet.
