Why would god create humans?
Boredom? Maybe we are just one big simulation game. Or perhaps just one of millions of "test tubes" that god created to see what happens when "xxxx" happens. Or an even more interesting idea, maybe we are part of a massive multiplayer real time strategy game between god and his buddies
But what kind of god would make a species as sick and twisted as human beings? Would that make god sick and twisted?
Trust me, I know just how crazy humans can be, in the past I used to be quite the “gore connoisseur”, beheading vids, IEDs, murders, rapes, suicides, animal tourture, etc. etc. And while we are capable of some pretty terrible things I do not think that humans as a whole are "evil" or "sick". I would say that for the most part we are generally kind and compassionate, especially when we are sent on a guilt trip.
I mean seriously why would god create an animal that does this to other life?
Well, you have to keep in mind humans aren't the only ones that inflict death and pain. Just look at any natural predator. A deer getting torn to pieces, literally being eaten alive by a pack of wolves is hardly a quick or painless death. Then of course you would say that, "But these animals don't kill or torture for fun.". Then I would suggest you get yourself a cat. Watch it catch a mouse or a lizard. It is actually pretty cool, but the really interesting part is when the cat "plays" with the dying mouse. After it has been incapacitated, but before it has died or been eaten, the cat will slash at it and toss it around a bit. Almost like playing with a ball of yarn.
If god were actually intelligent and could still "poof" he should probably "poof" us out of existence and keep us from killing the rest of his wonderful creations.
Maybe he didn't realize it at the time he created us. Or maybe that is the whole purpose of our existence, to see which creature is, excuse the phrase, "The baddest motherfucker on the planet". Besides, this is god we are talking about here. He can create more of whatever type of animal at will. Even the creatures that we completely killed off can be "poofed" back into existence. This is assuming of course that we are dealing with an omnipotent god.
If god were a highly intelligent being he wouldnt allow one species to destroy so many of his other creations. At least not any god that I could possibly concieve of.
Why would god have to be this super caring and compassionate being? If he can just "poof" any species in and out of the game at will, why would he care what one does to any other. And why does being highly intelligent imply sympathy or remorse for ones creations? The gardener does not weep for fallen blossoms. You need to keep in mind, to a god that can create/destroy life at will, life itself might not be as valuable as it seems to us lowly humans.
