I originally wrote this as a reply to the below cited, at that topic ("Showcase Forum Issues and Requests"). But that topic has already been badly contaminated by miscellaneous debris, and thus I thought it should be a new topic.
Admin/Percy writes here:
Once dBoard 3.0 is up and running smoothly I intend to donate a board to the creationists. They can pick the domain name and configure everything and run things as they like.
In the meantime, possible alternative:
New forum called "Creationist Run Forum", "Creationists Only", or something like that. Set it up like the "Showcase", in that messages are admin only, unless otherwise specificly designated. We could also have creationist moderators in that forum, even though we may not find them suitable as moderators outside of that forum.
Initially I was thinking a purely creationist forum, where only creationists would be allowed in. I would be curious to see what creationists would discuss amongst themselves, if there was no evo input into the topics. Would any discussion happen, other than griping about the evos? What I peronally would like to see would be creationists discussing creationism.
A second variation could be that evo's could also be invited in, even evo moderators.

Bending the rules for them won't help...
...their ability to debate facts in a logically consistent manner.
You want to give them their own self-regulated love-in ?
Who else is going to READ it ?
We scientists feel in no way obligated or in any way compelled to engage them on their own turf (supernatural mythological explanations).
Rather, THEY are the ones that seem compelled to challenge the enterprise of science with pathetic, unsubstantiated dogma.
And it is only then that scientists lend even half an ear to their pedantic and insistant whining.

I've been on two fora like that - one at ICR years ago, and more recently at http://www.tribulationforces.com . The latter was a sort of scary experience, though maybe everyone there got raptured today. ICR took theirs down, and I don't know about trib forces. But there were some spectacular folks at both.
Trib forces banned me for pointing out what the geologist-parsons of the 1830's wrote, and then went "believers-only" on their membership.

Admin has already identified you as a creationist or IDist, why are you feigning retardation ?

I'm not a creationist or IDist. It was a misunderstanding that doesn't seem to go away.
