I don't know. It depends on what effect solar radiation would have on a dead body. Also, I'd have to worry about my orbit decaying.

Being planted on the moon would be cool.
The river scenario is dubious, depending on great amounts of silt burying the body (while the corp of engineers tries desperately to prevent any from building up) and on the river not subsequently uncovering you until the job is done.
