For one they aren't just an army, also messangers.
Armies are for protection and conquering, what God needs protection or needs to conquer? And what omnipresent being needs messengers?
Who said he NEEDED an army to defeat his foes?
To create an army is proof enough of necessity. Proof of insecurity at least.
There is only one God and only because he loves us does he keep evil from completely destroying us.
How about not creating evil in the first place?
He is more powerful than you think.
I see no power whatsoever, so it wouldn't take much.
God is not trying to boss anyone around, you would like him to I think.
Just some proof he exists would be nice.
If God was bossing people around you could have all the evidence to his existance you wanted.
Bring it on. Surely that's what the religious would love, it would shut-up all us pesky atheists.

I'm quite sure God did see this coming.
Does He like strife?
No
No? Okay, God saw it coming, yet let it happen anyways and we're still going to be held accountable even though He did not do anything to prevent it? Is that about right?

What could this army do for a God who created everything? If God needs an army to defeat His foes, is that because A) He isn't as powerful as He says he is, B) There is more than one god and He needs to fight proxy wars, or C) He's an incomplete being who needs worship, somebody to boss around, or something else?
For one they aren't just an army, also messangers. Who said he NEEDED an army to defeat his foes?
They why do you liken him to a king? Also, why would an omniscient, omnipresent God need messengers? Why else would he create an Army? To sing His praises? Isn't that a bit egotistical?

Yet he does not eradicate it or come down to us and show a better way that is unequevical.

I think you're trying to say that "AS you would like to I think". If that is true, then why harden mens' hearts away from God? God's not trying to boss anyone around but yet it seems if you don't choose Him, you're toast.

Yet He does not. It would solve so many of the world's problems, promote unity, stick it to evil and He won't come on down. Why is that? Freewill? Then please explain why He hardens hearts.

Well since God/Allah was one of MANY gods it makes sense he had an army of angels. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." This plainly shows that there are other gods, The god of Moses (Yawheh) is making sure Moses and his people only worship him. If there were no other gods, only false gods then the commandment is worded very poorly. Plus there is still the whole El, Yahweh issue. El is the god of Jacob, who changed his name to IsraEL. Then there are the names of the Angles.. RaphaEL, IziEL, GaberiEL, ect. So obviously El was a Jewish god, as was Yahweh(Jehovah/YHWH). Yahweh was the god of Moses, basically there were two hebrew groups(northern and southern) who combined El and Yahweh to make one god. One God(or two as the case may be) of MANY gods. And thusly Angels WERE required to fight other gods. At least that would make sense to me, rather than some weird "God doesnt need angels, but wants angels cause he needs messangers, even though he really doesn't need messangers since he is the only God and he more than capable of doing anything he wants."

You mean just like in Genisis when God complains that Man and Woman had eaten the forbidden fruit He bemoans "They have become like US". Like US? Who is God talking to?

You'll never get an answer to that one. It gets quietly brushed under the carpet.

Judges 1:19 "And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron."
Maybe He needed the helpers in case anyone with an iron chariot felt like taking a pop.

I thought devils and demons were also unable to deal with IRON. What does this say about god?

I don’t believe in supernatural beings with wings how defend god with means of war, as we see it. Our demons are these big huge horrible monsters going to posses you and make you do degusting things. I think there symbolic. For example, demons are things like pride, envy, Gluttony, lust, anger, greed, and sloth. Angels are the opposite like Love compassion etc. Just my two cents. I don’t think anybody taking this thread seriously anyway.

It sounds like god has multiple personality syndrome. Lol
Think about it, all alone for eternity would you not talk to yourself?
