Your statement is entirely false. Nowhere did I refer to a bibilical statement that the bible is true and thus because it is true you can believe its statements are truth.
I stated that a central tenant of Christianity, both Catholic and Protestant, is that Jesus was fully God and fully Man and that God's character is such that He cannot tell a lie since that would violate His character. Thus Jesus statements as recorded by multiple authors and traditions proclaim that Noah's flood and the end of days and original sin were actual historical events accepted by all Jews of His day. They would have taken His words literally and not figuratively. When He spoke figuratively as in parables He announced it clearly as such.
