ah the wonders of the "idiot light" as they are known here.
don't have one on my van, and I drive the S.Oth. nuts ... she say's "you're on empty!!!" as I pass the gas station and I say "it's not really empty until the top corner of the needle lines up with the bottom corner of the empty line ... "
{or until the engine starts gasping ... whichever comes first)

Deeply important topic is getting side tracked
I presume no connection can be made between pictures/faces and "idiot lights".
Moose has two motorcycles, and wouldn't mind seeing a "Coffee House" motorcycle topic. Now, who was it that posted that motorcycle photo, just upthread?

Re: Here's me
Just out of curiousity, why did you pick the name "Catholic Scientist"? Are you a bit of both?
not just a bit, but completely.
I was raised Catholic and I work as a scientist(chemist). Its pretty much straight foward what I am. WRT EvC I always sorta straddled the debate. I have no problem with evolution but I still have faith in god.
As far as the name goes, I'm thinking of changing it because I'm getting promoted to an engineering position at work. I just don't think Catholic Engineer sounds as good so I prolly will end up not changing it. Besides, what are the minimum requirements for calling yourself a scientist anyways?

A professional scientist?
I would say that you should regularly test theory to call yourself a professional scientist.

I'm not much of a computer "expert"...so I need to ask: how do I post photos here?

Re: How to post photos
You need to have the photo stored somewhere on the internet. This might be something already on someones website, or something you upload to some site. Then you need to insert the proper code in your message, to get the photo to display.
I have to relearn the code part every rare time I want to insert some graphic. I suggest you use the "peek" function to look at how others have done it, elsewhere in this (or another) topic.

images
To add to Adminmooseus' reply:
If you have an image but it's on your personal computer (and you don't have a web site), you can get the photo onto the internet (so you can post it here) by using photobucket or imageshack.
In fact, even if the photo is already on someone else's website, it might still be preferable to link to it from photobucket or imageshack in order to save their bandwidth.
