Since this is not in the science side (and perhaps that was a mistake in the first place -- in fact now that it is discussing geology I'm moving it) the only recourse to someone who can't present real evidence or logic is to ignore them.
My suggestion in this kind of case is to simply register a post saying something like "I disagree but it is a science discussion that would be required to state why and that doesn't belong here."
Since so many have a challenge with that moving this to geology might make it easier.

We all have our favorite spirits, don't we? You can't say that I have never met mine, anymore than I can prove it impossible that your beer talks to you!
Dude, Thor is gonna gonna slap you upside the head with Mjollnir for your blasphemy.
...ahem!
and you know those greeks were all dirty homersexuals.
Ah, they ain't so bad. Yeah, Poseidon was a bit of a pussy, but Dionysus was good for a few laughs. Used to drink with him a lot, but he couldn't hold his booze as well as people think.
After a couple of hours digesting all of the posts on this topic, I think I finally know how science works for Faith. As you all know she doesnt believe in establihed scientific method for proving and disproving theories. Instead she is using the old Greek philosophy method with a few tweaks here and there. Her method: Observe and Imagine. She looks at the picture and imagined what happened as she/he tried to fit it in the Bible while ignoring real geology, physics and chemistry. I think this is the reason she ignores the establihed scientific method and appears to start with the conclusion and go deducting backward.

I will see you over the rainbow bridge brother (or is that just a marvel comics thing?) I will see you over the rainbow bridge brother (or is that just a marvel comics thing?)
No, it's genuine Norse mythology (sorry, Revealed Truth).
IIRC the rainbow bridge was called Bifrost and was guarded by Heimdall.
