Your "problem" has no easy solution.
It is possible for you to track down your old messages, and to edit them to blank out the content.
BUT THIS WOULD BE VERY BAD FORM, AND I ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO DO SUCH! I perhaps should not even be mentioning this idea.
What could be a better solution, would be to track the old messages down (you may wish to try to use a ID name search, forum by forum, at the
sites search utility), and to then edit them by adding some sort of disclaimer message at the end of some or all of them. Doing searchs of individual forums will probably find more messages than doing an "All Open Forums" search, since (I think) each search result is limited to a certain number of messages.
The disclaimer might be something along the lines of:
WARNING! - My beliefs have changed considerably since I posted this message. - Umliak (6/17/05)
