Great, just great. More argument.
Look people, how many posters do we have around here who know ID and can discuss the details with you? Not many.
And how many do we have around here like you that are anti-ID, and want to debate it? Tons.
So whoever is on the minority has to put of with attitude and hostility from many people, and it gets old faster that way. I think it would be prudent if people realized that and kept it in mind as they post.
Otherwise you may be left with no one to debate sooner or later. Is that what you all want?

From the peanut gallery:
Limbo,
As soon as real arguments are posted, Jerry isn't willing to discuss the details anymore. Instead, he uses dodgy tactics. He is doing your side a great disservice.
Besides, he slings around condescending remarks and comes over as extremely arrogant, yet when he is treated in the same manner, he starts whining about it. And when he is really cornered, he takes his patented escape route and runs.
You may be impressed by his 'scientific' approach, but even those of us who are only moderately informed about science, like myself, aren't in the least. Let alone those here who really know their stuff, like Wounded King, who did a great job of taking him on.
I wonder how many people have been watching this thread develop in the last hours. For me it was great entertainment. I had to restrain myself from posting "Booooo!" when Jerry ran.
Good show, WK!

Apparently nobody. Certainly not Jerry.

Wounded King...
Do you do this debating as part of your job?
If not, I won't tell. But if so, I envy you.

Piling on
The problem you are pointing out, Limbo, is called "piling on" around here. I agree with you that it is a problem and some of use try to hold back to limit how much of a problem it is.
There is something that Jerry or you can do though. Most of the time, when piling on is happening, the same things are being said by several different people. Sometimes they are said in different ways but are still the same point (this could actually be taken as helpful since one way of saying it may be more clear than another). In that case it is not necessary to answer each person individually. If the point is dealt with once, clearly and to the point then that can be refered to when others ask it over again.
However, if the point is not dealt with then it tends to cause even more piling on. When Jerry deals with the issues all or most of the other posters will move one. Some, of course, may need a simpler or differently worded form of the answer. That just helps Jerry develop his argument into a more powerfully stated one.
I have been watching a lot of debates here for awhile now. We have a few scientifically minded individuals who can come across as arrogant and insulting from the get-go but only two or three of them. If you watch a debate develop I think you will see that the insults start when someone gets nasty first or simply refuses to debate. I would like you to point out where Jerry has been treated nastily first (or at all).
A number of disparaging remarks have made about the content of his posts for sure. To handle that all he has to do is rebute them clearly.

Re: Wounded King...
No, I just do this as a break from reading papers and doing in-situs. I suppose I should really be planning the rest of my weeks experiments, but somehow I never feel motivated enough on a monday.

Hey JonF, I am currently reading some books written by real IDists. If you don't mind, give me some time and I'll be your ID counterpart.

If you pay attention, much of the conversations Jerry has had have been in circles. Yes, it's entertaining.
