How can I get through to Arachnophilia--the one who is so intellectual yet also so at a loss to knowing you? are you asking for a fight? because i can't honestly think of anything more insulting than attacking my relationship with my god. i know him a lot better than you'd think.

I was joking. I am an annoying absolutist, however while you seem to be more geared towards intellectual study of religion and not as much of a personal relationship type guy. You describe yourself as a non kosher Jew. I wanted a reaction out of you and I got it! Nothing personally insulting was mean't by it---I just wanted to see your reaction. Tell God not to smite me!

actually. the idea is a real personal relationship rather than a blind follower of rules and tradition.

First, Zsafira, I'd first ask you why you don't specify the relationship of the Gehaveh and Yahweh, since you refer to them separately in your post without specification. This is confusing to your readers.
1. As to the Biblical god, Yahweh/Jehovah, his son Jesus said to refer to him as, "Father," as per the Lord's prayer as taught by Jesus himself when one asks the Father anything. 2. Jesus, son of Jehovah/Yahweh, clearly designated the process in which one must use in order to ask Yahweh/Jehovah/Father anything, or for that matter, to communicate with him or come to him in any way. Jesus said "no man comes to the Father, but by me." John 14:6, and "what ever you ask the Father in my name, you will receive." (Somewhere in John's gospel without looking it up.) I've said the above to say this: I continually ask God about many things. Often his answer comes via my daily reading of his holy book, the Bible. Sometimes his answer comes via another person, even possibly by a counterpart debate member of this board or someone or some information he puts in my path subsequent to the request, etc. The answer may sometimes be, "That's for me, God, to know and for you to find out in the next life. In the meantime promote my kingdom and precepts in your life and things will work out fine, now and forever." Edited by Buzsaw, : fix a word. BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. Hi Zsafira,
The problem with this sort of question...
quote: is...
Arthur C Clarke writes: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." ie. without being "God" myself, I have no objective means to verify the answer. Cheers.

"Ah Ah, I know what you're thinking. 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?"

Not deep or meaningful to anyone else, but I'd just ask for a hug.

buzsaw,The pronunciation Yahweh, does bring up two original phonemes of the four hebrew consonants when the Y is pronounced as in the spanish language, where Y has a J [Jewd] sound. - Edited by CrazyDiamond7, : update

Did the apostles call the lamb by the name of Gehaveh [Gehav’oshua/Yahshua which means I AM the Salver/Mediation] Or did they call the lamb by the name of a man [I.e.svs/Iesus] According to my Greek text, they, being Hebrew Jews called him Iasous/Yasous (Spelling Iota, eta, sigma, omicron, upsilon, sigma.) per their native language. It translates in modern English to Jesus. Do you have a problem with translating scripture to modern English words and pronunciations?
