Just finished Alter Echo for the Xbox. Great game if you like action/platformers. The level/character designs are extremely psychodelic, added proof that pot use is rampant in the video game industry (not that it is a bad thing).

Other than that I also enjoy the Halo-games, though preferably with a friend as I find the whole run-and-gun thing kind of boring without someone to join me in the adventure.
You might want to check out "Deus Ex: Invisible War". I loved the game. It is first person shooter with heavy stealth leanings. You can even use a sword, one of the more enjoyable weapons in recent memory. There is also an RPG element in that you can upgrade your nanotech mods, a cool feature that allows you to manipulate computers, cameras, bots, etc. as well as stealth modes.

If you liked it though and are up for a slightly funnier take on the genre (i.e. open ended games) try Fable. Just played through it as a goody two shoes and it was really fun. Plan to go back and try it as an evil wizard to see what happens. It is a bit like Morrowind but more structured.
Great game. My only complaint is that you can breeze through the main story in under 15 hours. Lent it to a friend, plan on being an evil magic-user next time through. There was 3 years of hype behind this game and it came up a little short, in my opinion. They gutted the morality system so that you could switch from angelic to demonic at any time by donating money at one of two temples. However, the humour was great, especially once you get a wife and a house. Strip down to your Union Jacks, flirt with your wife, and get ready to roll on the floor laughing.

So in games where it matters (Knights of the Old Republic) I usually wind up doing the "good" thing, because I can never see what I have to gain from the "bad" thing.
Force Lightning and Life Drain are more powerful than any Light Side force skill. Being "evil" in KotOR is a power trip once you develop your dark side skills.
