Re: WWJD
I used to be in the Christian right. About the time Reagan was running for president. I believed in a strong military defense, free market capitalism, and the like. Then I actually read the Gospels. That's when my doubts began.

Matthew 22:21 -
They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

Ephesians 5:14

TTBOMK that would be the WWJD response.
Theistic (Christian), Evolutionist, Republican (likely) Kerry supporter.

Re: WWJD
TTBOMK? means what?
Was that your assessement of the response of Jesus or your own? Are they one and the same?
Later, if there are enough responses it might be interesting to start a separate thread and discuss each of the questions and what the believers (of all strips) feel would be the response of Jesus with, I presume, scripture to support it.
Would you like to start that thread?

Re: WWJD
TTBOMK? means what?
To the best of my knowledge.
Was that your assessement of the response of Jesus or your own? Are they one and the same?
Presumptive, but Jesus. And no, it is not quite the same as mine.
Later, if there are enough responses it might be interesting to start a separate thread and discuss each of the questions and what the believers (of all strips) feel would be the response of Jesus with, I presume, scripture to support it.
I think that would be interesting but contentious. Let's see if there are any other responses.

Okay, I'll repeat my scores:
-8.00 on economic and -7.44 on social
and add that I am atheist (in case you didn't catch it in the other threads).

Economic Left/Right: -5.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.13
cool
These questions were seemingly targeting Christian beliefs to make them way right on the chart.
example the homosexual adoption question, the person who made the test knew that some Christians are against homosexuality. (thats the belief I see in the public's eye these days)
Also the 'against women' questions.
Again the person who made it knew that some Christians take verses like 'Submit to your husbands' the wrong way...

the person who made the test knew most some Christians are against homosexuality.
And those Christians are the only folks that are? Do you really think that there are no Islamic, Hindu, or agnostic homophobes in our world?
Such paranoia!
