Here, I'd suggest that even if the wording is not identical taking others material and not acknowledging that is equivalent to plagerism and is dishonest.
I'll do a quick check on this too. If it is as similar to some source as your first post was it had better be the last dishonest post you make. The next one will get you suspended. Added by edit:Blog et actualits en France et dans le monde is the source of this material Any further dishonesty will earn you a suspension. In addition, it is off topic, continued willfull topic hoping will also earn you a suspension. You are also required to support your assertions. You don't seem to be doing that. Continuation of such behaviour and --- a suspension. Do you notice the thread running through this? This message has been edited by AdminNosy, 08-28-2004 02:04 AM

It is copied. The identical list appears on many websites. Just Google one of the questions and it shows up multiple times.

I didn't get my information from that site but it seems to have some good information thank you.
what is wrong with my info. no matter where I get it if its against evolution I am told its from a creationist site and it doesn't count that's kind of a loaded question for me to find a site where evolutionists want me to find an evolution site that shows there errors why would they do that.

what is wrong with my info. You need to make sure that, when you post stuff you haven't written yourself, you make the proper attribution. Otherwise it's plagarism. Nobody's saying you can't post stuff from whatever sites you like, but you have to say where you got it from, or you're being dishonest.

I didn't steal that information where did you get yours most of us read or go to school and are taught information they didn't get it by themselves. But when we cut and paste stuff from other sites, we say where we got it from. When we employ other people's information or reasoning in our own, we give credit where credit is due. Didn't they teach you that in school?

You need to do more than just cut and paste, even with attribution. We discuss things here and you are expected to make and defend your point of view. Afterall, we are not debating some web page.

I haven't seen anyone so far saying where they got any of there information. Well, a number of them are actually professionals in biological fields, so they got their information first-hand, through experiment, training, and research. The rest of us are generally referring to well-known sources or aren't making controversial claims, so we generally omit the sources unless someone asks. You're free to challenge us for a source for any claim you'd like supported, of course. Just as we're free to challenge you for your sources. If you want a source for a particularly controversial claim, just ask.

Hrm, you still don't quite get it, yet.
You have to make your own arguments, because you're participating in the debate. We can't debate with the author of that website because he isn't here. It's fine, again, for you to use material other people have written, if you tell us where it's from, but you can't use it instead of making your own arguments. You can only use it to support your own arguments. You're here. The author of that site is not. It's you we want to debate with, not him.

yes I understand I have to show where I get the information I post and cannot claim it as my own. Yes, but that is only part of it. You needn't bother posting it at all unless you understand it and are able to support it in ongoing discussion. You are posting material that has been shown to be hogwash many times before. You have no idea what the sites you are copying are talking about (and, in many cases, neither do they ![]() It is up to you to make the points. You don't even have to offer your sources unless asked. However, if you simple copy stuff that you don't understand and can't or won't defend you are not debating in good faith.
