It is he that sitteth upon the CIRCLE of the earth a circle is not flat its round. Sorry Charlie, it's flat. It is not a sphere. It is a circle. Look, all the stuff you've brought up has been discussed at length. But none of it belongs in this thread. If you want to discuss those asides then take it to the proper thread. Better yet, take some time and review what's here. They have all been discussed again and again and so far no one has been able to defend even one of them. This thread is on the Big Bang...How did it happen. All else is off topic. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

OK if you think of a person sitting on a circle then by that image the circle would have to be round even in a two dimensional image. If its laying flat then it would look like the person was sitting on a hole on the ground.
This thread is on the Big Bang...How did it happen. All else is off topic. OK some of this is off topic but you don't have to answer if you don't want to I am wandering if anyone can answer though but most of this is on the topic . Just pick a few you don't have to answer all of them. 1. Where did the space for the universe come from? 2. Where did matter come from? 3. Where did the laws of the universe come from (gravity, inertia, etc.)? 4. How did matter get so perfectly organized? 5. Where did the energy come from to do all the organizing? 6. When, where, why, and how did life come from dead matter? 7. When, where, why, and how did life learn to reproduce itself? 8. With what did the first cell capable of sexual reproduction reproduce? 9. Why would any plant or animal want to reproduce more of its kind since this would only make more mouths to feed and decrease the chances of survival? (Does the individual have a drive to survive, or the species? How do you explain this?) 10. How can mutations (recombining of the genetic code) create any new, improved varieties? (Recombining English letters will never produce Chinese books.) 11. Is it possible that similarities in design between different animals prove a common Creator instead of a common ancestor? 12. Natural selection only works with the genetic information available and tends only to keep a species stable. How would you explain the increasing complexity in the genetic code that must have occurred if evolution were true? 13. When, where, why, and how did: a) Single-celled plants become multicelled? (Where are the two- and threecelled intermediates?) b) Single-celled animals evolve? c) Fish change to amphibians? d) Amphibians change to reptiles? e) Reptiles change to birds? (The lungs, bones, eyes, reproductive organs, heart, method of locomotion, body covering, etc., are all very different!) How did the intermediate forms live? 14. When, where, why, how, and from what did: a) Whales evolve? b) Sea horses evolve? c) Bats evolve? d) Eyes evolve? e) Ears evolve? f) Hair, skin, feathers, scales, nails, claws, etc., evolve? 15. Which evolved first (how, and how long, did it work without the others)? a) The digestive system, the food to be digested, the appetite, the ability to find and eat the food, the digestive juices, or the body’s resistance to its own digestive juice (stomach, intestines, etc.)? b) The drive to reproduce or the ability to reproduce? c) The lungs, the mucus lining to protect them, the throat, or the perfect mixture of gases to be breathed into the lungs? d) DNA or RNA to carry the DNA message to cell parts? e) The termite or the flagella in its intestines that actually digest the cellulose? f) The plants or the insects that live on and pollinate the plants? g) The bones, ligaments, tendons, blood supply, or muscles to move the bones? h) The nervous system, repair system, or hormone system? I) The immune system or the need for it?

I was just wandering about the above now I will focus on the big bang

1. Where did the space for the universe come from? 2. Where did matter come from? Those are the only two issues that relate to the Big Bang, so the rest need to go to the appropriate thread. The first really doesn't have any meaning yet. There are some mathmatical models that seem to require something outside the universe but so far we have no way to test them directly. The second also doesn't have any meaning either. It was. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

OK thanks for the info.
There are some mathematical models that seem to require something outside the universe but so far we have no way to test them directly. If there was nothing how can you say universe it wouldn't be there right? also if something outside did something to cause this how did it get there and so on and so on..

I didn't say there was nothing.
also if something outside did something to cause this how did it get there and so on and so on.. IMHO, that is a valid question. As a Christian I believe that GOD did create the Universe and if there are other universes, that they are within GOD and GOD is within them. The more we look, the more beautiful and intricate everything is. I believe that we can see GOD in the details. The HOW is the provence of Science and as we learn more, we will begin to understand how GOD did it. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

I was just wandering about the above Nobody's going to answer your questions here, because it wouldn't be on topic. But we do have answers for all that. You should post these questions as new threads and we'll be happy to answer them if you want.

Come on please, please, pretty please make use of UBB Code and use quotes!!!
It's pretty easy and it will make your post oh some much easy to read. I'm really enjoying this thread (as a lurker up until now) but not using quotes makes it hard to keep up with your responses. Use the raw text button (next to the red reply button) to see how it's done.

not in physics where you are doomed but at least you can now use the quote facility.

1. Where did the space for the universe come from? Spacetime begins at the Big Bang.
2. Where did matter come from? No one knows.
3. Where did the laws of the universe come from (gravity, inertia, etc.)? No one knows.
4. How did matter get so perfectly organized? Is it perfectly organised? What are you comparing it against to imply this?
5. Where did the energy come from to do all the organizing? What organising?
6. When, where, why, and how did life come from dead matter? Who knows and what is 'dead' matter?
7. When, where, why, and how did life learn to reproduce itself? RNA?
8. With what did the first cell capable of sexual reproduction reproduce? Single celled organisms exchange genetic material. What is the problem with the evolution to separate sexes?
9. Why would any plant or animal want to reproduce more of its kind since this would only make more mouths to feed and decrease the chances of survival? (Does the individual have a drive to survive, or the species? How do you explain this?) You really don't understand evolution do you? It's populations that evolve not individuals.
10. How can mutations (recombining of the genetic code) create any new, improved varieties? (Recombining English letters will never produce Chinese books.) How can they not? An equally valid question. Do you have anything except appeals from incredulity?
11. Is it possible that similarities in design between different animals prove a common Creator instead of a common ancestor? Absolutely not. In fact species seem evolved much more than they seem designed.
12. Natural selection only works with the genetic information available and tends only to keep a species stable. How would you explain the increasing complexity in the genetic code that must have occurred if evolution were true? You start of with a fallacy. The rest does not therefore apply.
No one can answer these especially the why's. This is stupidity to even ask. It's like asking why does coffee taste like coffee. Your intermediate forms question is yet anothe example of you NOT understanding what evolution theory is. Yet another thing you need to read up on. You know, it is STUPID to attack something you don't even know what that something is. Of course this is what happens when you just cut and paste someone elses nonsense.
14. When, where, why, how, and from what did: a) Whales evolve? b) Sea horses evolve? c) Bats evolve? d) Eyes evolve? e) Ears evolve? f) Hair, skin, feathers, scales, nails, claws, etc., evolve? Why are you asking things that require hundreds of pages to answer? Why ask the why's when this is unanswerable by anyone? As above. Again you come on an internet message board and ask questions that require hundreds of pages to answer but if we don't answer you probably go 'see, you cannot answer so evolution or whatever is wrong. Yet the irony is that you yourself are not asking these questions or can even understand the answers. You are just trolling someone elses nonsense. Why not do us all a favour (including yourself) and take the time to learn at least the basics of science because otherwise you are just another ignorant Creationist that gets laughed at because of outright stupidty.
