I'm just saying that they have priorities that seem to override the "small" things.
Yeah, god forbid I worry a little more about my continued employment, the rising costs of health care and insurance, how much it costs to fill my gas tank, and other trifles, when major, looming issues like how close John Kerry was to Cambodia 30 years ago are here to vex us!

Precisely, thanks for a prime example!

Maybe the bubble is bigger than I had thought.

No, I think this is a pretty standard position among progressives, liberals, and Kerry supporters.
We pay attention and rebut the Swift Boat claims, though, because they're mendacious lies that are easy to refute. It's honestly not that hard to see through these ridiculous lies.
It's much like creationism. It's an easy battle to win because the evidence is clear, copious, and irrefutable.

I predicted on this board, around two years ago, that we would never find any WMD, because I saw through the lies and spin of this administration.
I just find it incredible that all of the conservatives I have encountered on this board, almost to a person, are so incredibly selectively moronic when it comes to this president and his actions.
Just really, really stupid and gullible.
I mean, really stupid.
Really really.
Stupid.

Tally of times asked: 3
Whatever, where are the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq?
Also, whare is Osama bin Laden?
How is the war in Iraq going?
What is the US national debt right now compared to 4 years ago?

I think if you affiliate yourself with a party you are not making a wise decision.

I'm glad you have faith that Kerry will resolve these issues. I can't wait until there's no gasoline left. Taking pot shots at "creationism" isn't productive though. Honestly I'm definitely interested too I admit, I'm reading "against all enemies" but I can't stand when people get wound-up over it.

Um, Kerry wants to greatly increase funding to develop alternative power sources so we will not be dependent upon middle east oil.
Since the Bush family made their fortune in the oil business, and all their friends are in the oil business, and they are incredibly close to the Saudi royal family, how likely do you think it is that they will encourage the development of alternative power sources, or act to reduce our dealings with the Saudis?
The thing is, the gasoline WILL run out someday at the rate we are consuming it. Why not think long term and begin to develop these technologies?

Kerry / Benedict Arnold !!!!
Razd, The Vets say Kerry is an North vietnamese hero, some Vets say he is an American hero, that makes him liken to the notorious American traitor, Benedict Arnold, who had a fatal flaw, selfish for only his own success, etc...
P.S. I'm not saying Kerry is as brillant as was Arnold, they just appear to care more about their success, than whose side they aided, etc...Kerry appears to have a brain phobia with success, and it may prove fatal to America, because he appears to see no problem with aiding the enemy, if it propagates Kerry's successes, presently he's attacking one of americas finest, Donald Rumsfeld, likely cause he has no place in a Kerry administration, where our finest young men will put into collitions, under UN control, with terrorist generals commanding our troops, etc...This is likely the reason the Vets that are not republicans are so upset with Kerry, and his mental fitness to be president, they see him in as another Benedict Arnold, that put his own personal success ahead of supporting the Vets. Kerry has proven in the past to be a Benedict Arnold, all the Vets attesting to this fact in the book that he Kerry is mentally unfit for command, Kerry appears to be exibiting the same mental disease phobia in respect to success as Benedict Arnold, which is likely why he married rich women, (just reflect about it all for a bit), etc...
P.S. We don't need an unstable man in office, Kerry likely needs to be treated, but not feeding his problem, you really only have one choice, to help Kerry is to not vote for Kerry, and you will help not only Kerry but America, etc...
Benedict Arnold
Arnold's perfidy lay in the abuse of his position of authority and trust: he would betray West Point and its garrison "and if necessary the entire American war effort" to secure his own success. His treason was not that of a principled man but that of a selfish one, and he never lived that down.

Re: Kerry / Benedict Arnold !!!!
you are definitely over the edge. bush is a pathological liar and is incapable of admitting he is wrong ... he tries that old saying "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" but can't get the ending right.
you've seen the list of bush flip flops ... no admission of error on his part.
What the North Vietnamese say about Kerry is nothing like what the rest of the free world says about Bush. Former allies ... let's see you make that Kerry's fault?
Ask yourself who really lost and who really won on the issue of the vietnam war -- not the war, but why the war (if the distinction is within your grasp?). Hint we are talking about only americans on this one.
There is an american doctor who is also a hero for the chinese. You may want to look why before you leap to concussions.
Seriously go over to Bush topic and give a positive reason to consider bush anything but a loser. One backed by fact. One fact.

Re: John Kerry / Benedict Arnold !!!!
Razd, You miss the whole import of the issue isn't necessarily about Kerry being a hero, but a traitor to ones own country. You miss the importance of the honoring of Kerry for his part by the North Vietnamese for their victory over the United States in their North Vietnamese War Museum in Saigon memorializing Kerry, etc...
P.S. Some Vets say Kerry is a hero, some say he lied, doesn't really matter, if Kerry is a traitor, etc... When Clinton and Kerry gave our hardened chip satellight technology to china, he aided the enemy to our interests, etc...

Why is opposing a war that is killing one's soldiers for no good reason a treasonous act?
