Umm... it's a pretty large universe out there, Buz. Our planet makes up maybe 0.0001% of our solar system, which makes up maybe 0.0000000001% of our galaxy, which makes up maybe 0.0000000001% of what universe we can currently detect. D'ya really, really think that this electron in an atom in a protein in a hair on the tail wags that whole dog? That seems a pretty arrogant position to take to me.
Good post, Cora, as are most others which I'll try to get to soon.
1, As demonstrated in the OT as well as the NT, God, the majesty of the universe seems to delight in doing big things by using little insignificant things to do the job. Why, Imo, he likes showing the hosts of heaven what he is able to do with so little via soooo much of the power of his mighty multipresent Holy Spirit.
2. Remember, my topic is about saving the universe by means of the earth. I have hypothesised that this tiny dot in the vast universe is what God created to justly end the evil of Satan and his empire. In revelation 12 he is cast to the earth and later cast into the lake of fire.
And my preacher dad always said Gehenna was the Jerusalem city dump, not a lake of fire. The lake is only in Revelations, no? And Gehenna in a gospel somewhere?
That's correct. It was the dump as I understand, but I believe it is used also in reference to the lake of fire. I'll check that out for a reference.
