I disagree:
Correction AE: unknowable
The original poster was correct. It would take an agnostic to posit your answer.

You are mistaken; an agnostic only asserts that it is unkown WHETHER god exists. Atheism says it is unknowable, and must therefore not be considered.
This Atheist says there is no god.

Wrong; it is. That being what 'atheist' means and all.

Quite frankly, if you think Atheists don't 'believe there is no god' you're using a radically non-standard definition of Atheist.
You're "Atheism says it is unknowable, and must therefore not be considered" describes a form of Agnosticism.

sounds quite standard to me. Atheists have a disbelief in God rather than a Belief that God does not exists. Those are two quite difference things.
No, I and other Atheists believe there is no god. Some may wish to phrase it differently as 'no belief in god' but it amounts to the same thing and both are different to what Contra has put forward.
I believe there is no god in exactly the same way I believe there are no alien abductions, fairies at the bottom of the garden or invisible monkeys tap-dancing on my monitor.

And hang on second, you and Contra already presupposed that you could tell me what atheists do or don't believe so get off you're high horse.

From your first link:
If your questions are not asked with the specificity necessary to answer them, please be aware that we will correct you. An "Atheist" is not a "what." An "Atheist" is a person who has a lifestyle premised on the weltanschauung of materialism. That is, we accept "objective reality" in living our lives and we reject any phantasmagoria of the imagination of theistic fold. We live in the real world. Theistic folk live in a world of make believe. To put it simply, an Atheist says to you, "What you see is what you get...." An Atheist uses reason to solve human problems, to make his way in life, to seek happiness, to live with the human community. We eschew the irrational idea of theism.
(Emphasis mine)
In other words a atheist believes there is no god.

Actually, I corrected Rubystars, and you presumed to correct me.
No, I registered my disagreement. And I continue to hold that disagreement. If you think the question of whether there is a god can be answered either way you are not an Atheist.
If you are confonted by a theist who claims that your belief is indistinguishable from theirs, you will have to admit this is so, because you cannot provide a rational explanation for your belief.
Well that's a bold claim. I strongly believe that Atheism is the rational conclusion on the basis of the evidence delivered by the world.
If I am confronted by such a theist, however, I can offer a rational response, and decline to even consider the proposition until they can indicate a reason to do so.
Dodging the question makes your position no more rational.
