yes. you can take one from your local psychologist. that made my brain bleed. and i got a 127. but then i have a computational disability that that test didn't take into account. with my disability accounted for i got something ridiculous on the standard adult iq test synonymous with breaking it. but then iq is only a standardized idea of one's ability to train for higher logic... er something. basically one's ability to sit on one's ass and think too much.

Well, I guess I'm just too damn smart. By the way, I never finished that test. I don't have much time on the internet in the summer, and those damn pattern questions gave me a headache. The Laminator

I decided that for me, the best intelligence test was, "How much more time am I going to waste on these IQ tests?"

IQ tests don't mean jack. It's what you do with knowledge that matters. I have known a good amount of brilliant thinkers, who spend most of their lives smoking pot in their parents basement I got a 124 But then again, I got half way thrugh and got board and kinda rushed the last questions, maybe I could do better some other time when I care more

Question 28
That's true! I never thought about that... good job. What about the square piece of paper one? Where there is a square that you have to figure the area, and then there is a triangle on top unfolding that always has another fold underneath. The question says "if there was an infinite amount of folds underneath what would be the area?" My answer is 149.9 (repeating obviously, but I just put one 9) because the area will never be 150. Although, when I just put 150 my IQ goes up. So, I think something is wrong there. Lam: I hate those pattern ones too. Well thanks. That pic isn't me, but I hope to be a doctor someday, and if I do, that's how I'll want to look.

Back, long, long ago when I was just getting started
we used a folded bandanna to hide our faces. Keep you hat pulled down low and the bandanna up over your nose and very few could identify us to the sheriff. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

The question says "if there was an infinite amount of folds underneath what would be the area?" My answer is 149.9 (repeating obviously, but I just put one 9) because the area will never be 150. 149.9 with infinite repeating 9's is 150. They're equal. So the answer they give is right, and the answer you put is off by .1. Didn't you ever do limits in high school? This is totally a limits problem. Rrhain can certainly explain it better than I can, though.

Nope. With an infinite amount of folds, it necessarily is 150. 0.999... = 1 Proof: Let 0.999... = x Then 10 * 0.999... = 10x Or 9.999... = 10x Subtracting on both sides, we get: 9.999... - 0.999... = 10x - x Or 9 = 9x Reducing gives us 1 = x But since we defined x = 0.999..., then 0.999... = 1. Thus, with an infinite number of folds, the area becomes 149.999... = 150.
