You may not like my theory, but the "Big Bang", according to me, was created by Satan and he named it Hades. Death roamed the plains before God was around.
What God created was another part of the earth. God did not create Satan. Satan had discovered this region, and sent Death to explore and carry out the bidding of evil. Death took the form of a snake that approached Adam and Eve.
When the "apple of death" (hence the name) was eaten, and mankind were doomed to die (physically that is), Satan had carried out his chaos. (through Death)

SA-,
Actually, it makes more sense in scripture to view the apple as the fruit of the tree of life. The mulberry appears the best candidate for the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
I trust you are proposing this theory in the hopes that God will get mad and come down and straighten you out. I agree, that would be nice.

If God hasn't come down already, he wouldn't come down just for one scoundrel in Australia. There are plenty more reasons for him to come to Earth than me. Don't think he'd bother much with me tho.
I would like to see that, lol.
In any event, there is noreason why this theory COULD be correct.
Water is the drink of life. Just also an entree to wash down with death..

But then, maybe it was Lucky the Leprechaun that caused the big bang instead. Then again, the Trix Bunny is also a possibility.

1.61803,
Pomegranite? Instead of apple? Could be, they have some similarities. But the pomegranite is sorta tart, while the apple is sweeter....But, not as sexy, and the fruit of the tree of life is identified in the Song, as sexy.
I'm still hearing apple, when I ask God. What are you hearing, when you ask?
Stephen

Pomagrante. Apples need cold winters to blossom. Adam and Eve were nude and would of froze there gonads off. And although Apples where refered to I am of the opinion that pomagrante would be the fruit God would of chose. I asked God which fruit...I am waiting for a reply God must be busy right now and has my query on hold for the moment. Peace be with you Stephen.

lordy lordy lordy...
What on Earth have we here?
Get a grip!
''but the "Big Bang", according to me'' ...and quite possibly you are the only one...
''was created by Satan and he named it Hades'' ...and he told you this?
''What God created was another part of the earth'' ...can I go there? is it near Disney World?
''God did not create Satan'' ...and he told you this?
''Satan had discovered this region, and sent Death to explore and carry out the bidding of evil. Death took the form of a snake'' ...ahh, your talking about a Zoo near Disney World!
''When the "apple of death" (hence the name)'' ...I have to admit the 'apple of death' could have no other name that describes it so perfectly!
''and mankind were doomed to die (physically that is)'' ...well I suppose 'social death' doesn't hold quite the same menace does it.
''I no longer fear hell, but have grown accustomed to it.'' ...you know that is the only piece of your post I actually believe, your life must be a total hell, sadly it seems of your own making.

1.6etc,
Still hearing apples. But, it's metaphorical. Or so I'm hearing. Something like, apples today are closest naturally to what the tree of life represented. Which is Him. But, pomegranetes are close. Close enough. Eat and rejoice.
Stephen

Actually, I think the fig is also a good candidate. Not only is it symbolic, but it makes their fig leaf fashion sense work. Why else would it be specifically mentioned?

Figs are a good choice too, grow on scubby little bushes though and are small and ugly fruit. IMO. Stephan likes apples but as I said they require cold winters. Pomagrantes thats the ticket!!!!

big leaves

I agree, only I think the leaves back then in that variety were bigger. Nice to see they don't close all threads that are not scientific.

Your theory is wrong. God is actually Lisa Simpson and the world was created in her science project.

For once arkathon actually made a correct statement. This thread has absolutely nothing to do with science and should be closed.
