Re: autism studies
Time to put it frankly : Why do you prefer more deaths and suffering (no vaccination) over less deaths and suffering (mandatory vaccination)?
I prefer the fewer deaths from refusing vaccination or I wouldn't be arguing as I do. I'm convinced vaccines contain poisons that for some reason don't harm everyone, at least not in any obvious way, but do harm enough people, even having killed some babies, to deserve serious concern instead of the blanket push you all give them, that a great deal of the research that says they're safe is fudged and that all you guys are deceived.

Re: autism studies
Maybe it was garbage or maybe the retraction was politically or economically motivated.

So it all boils down to this : In the face of absence of evidence for your side, you're left with a worldwide conspiracy theory.
You should be concerned that you often seems to be on the wrong side when dealing with reality.

Re: autism studies
Refusing vaccines leads to far, far more deaths and serious problems. See the table and and graphs I posted above.
Do you accept that your plan leads to far more deaths? Or do you have measurements and statistics that solidly demonstrate otherwise?
(Hint: you don't)
Not just anecdotes, no connections between the vaccine and bad outcomes that require assumptions. Statistics

Re: autism studies
OK, let's check the evidence that it was garbage. So far we have the assessments of many professionals in the field, hundreds of contradictory results, and the statement of the publisher.
Got any evidence for your libelous and vile aspersions?
No?
Didn't think you did.
Edited by JonF, : No reason given.

Re: autism studies
Parents have anecdotes, and normally no way to fund or motivate research, whereas those with a vested interest in the safety of vaccines have lots of both. I am sure some anecdotes require reinterpretation but I'm also sure some are right on. You'll never find out how vaccines are unsafe by ignoring them. And until they are taken seriously and some credible action is taken on their behalf all your supposed evidence is junk.

Promise Is Seen in an Inexpensive Cholera Vaccine - The New York Times
Damn them evil scientists! Developing a vaccine that works better than alternatives and better than expected, but the worst part is that it costs less!
I may be overhyping this, but one way or another it's totally opposite to Faith's fabulous fantasies.

I've never doubted that science COULD do it right if not being manipulated by political or economic interests.

mmhmm, yeah right. That just rings hollow.
Last time you complained that the research was manipulated by political or economic interests it was shown to you that the people behind the research were the Bureau of Infectious Diseases, Canada, and the Hospital for Children and Adolescents, Helsinki University Central Hospital, Finland.
You're response to that was:
quote:
Don't know about that research, not interested at this point in this discussion in finding out thanks to the general attitude on the "science" side against people with genuine and legitimate concerns.
Such dishonesty. Tsk tsk.

Re: autism studies
So, you don't have any evidence. Not even an estimate of the effects of vaccines.
I too am sure some anecdotes are right on. I am also sure that some are right off. But we do know how many problems the disease caused after improved hygiene and nutrition but before vaccine, and we know how many problems the vaccine causes. The latter is impressively smaller than the former.
Nobody is ignoring the few problems that are caused by vaccines. Each report is taken seriously, logged and included in a count, investigated and evaluated. A large proportion of those few cases are judged to be accurate and the victims receive some compensation. That's the best we can do other than choosing the incredibly worse alternative you offer.
Are you willing to take responsibility for the thousands of serious repercussions, including many deaths, if some country would ever implement your lunatic plan? You are not talking about decreasing problems, you want to increasincrease them greatly. Would you be happier for all those people dying but all naturally? Organic slaughter?
We have the measurements and statistics and the counts of alleged and compensated problems. You can't even produce a guess of how many problems there are.

Don't CARE, CS, not interested in checking out research in favor of the safety of vaccines. If it's legit, fine, but some isn't and until you all acknowledge that and respond fairly and credibly I am not addressing any supposed evidence.
I don't know about the Cholera vaccine either. I hope it's as good as the article says, but perhaps it's full of poisons whose effects will go unnoticed or affect people over time. Poison additives tend to be the cheapest way to preserve vaccines.
