Needs lots of work.
Cutesy; nice little rant, no real substance and a typical Gish Gallop start but nothing there really worth debating.
If you can revise the OP so that there is a subject and in a short paragraphy describe your position and what the issue is you want to discuss, post a reply here and I will happily take another look at it.

    Hi Jar!
I had different take on this one. Seems a nice Coffee House topic, what do you think?

I think not. It is classic Gish Gallop, with over 30 unsupported assertions, each of which would require a dialog to address. Charlie has been here long enough to know that the tactic of throwing a plate of spaghetti on the ceiling to see what sticks is not a productive form of debate.

    I will promote this
But I think that it would serve best as a philosophy 101 type topic.
I have a couple of questions for you first.
Do you want this presented as a springboard for a topic on free expression? A place for true freedom II? Free expression of emotions, ideas, and critiques?
In other words, if you want to propose a new topic, do you want it to be a continuation of True Freedom in that it will serve as a philosophical exchange of ideas, or do you actually want to focus on Adam Smith specifically?
    Edited by AdminPhat, : clarification

I think it will spark quite a large debate, and I am prepared to defend the claims. And tell what I meant by writing it. Thought it might make some people realize some things, or perhaps myself. Wrote it down today after sociology. I take back what I said about college by the way. Good stuff, that class.

    No, it's all worth debating.
I didn't want to revise the OP, I think I would ruin it's highly controversial nature, and taint it's original qualities.
It is what it is you know?

He is laying all the ills of the modern world upon capitalism, and of course he's right. Seems perfect Coffee House fodder.

You're not getting off that easy - I demand consensus! I refuse to let you have my way until everyone agrees with me!
